We stayed in mid September and they immediately asked to hold our passports. We didn't feel comfortable doing this so we had to pay up front (not a problem, but something you should know). We were then taken to a room with no windows, a dirty fridge, no safe and a broken fan. We immediately let them know, and they provided us with a free upgrade, however they made us cancel our booking through ***********. We aren't totally sure, but this gave off the vibe that they didn't want us to leave a review (hence the review here). The follow up room was okay enough for the price that we payed, however, the tiles were broken, the fridge was still dirty, and there was hair left over from the previous occupant still in the shower. There was also a leak going from the main room to the bathroom, so the bathroom floor was constantly damp. The photos are similar to the state of the actual room, however with the interruption of COVID and what seems as general lack of care of the property, you get what you pay for, and the rooms are in need of some desperate tlc. The younger member of staff (with glasses) was very helpful, and we can't really fault him Couldn't help but feel we were given a s*** room because we were awkward and refused to leave our passports though, but this wasn't dealing with him.
