Male staff lacked of customer oriented. Staying for 3 days for the business close to this hotel. After arrival, i just realized it is abit off the town. Every time, i wanna travel to the town, it takes 20-30 mins by Grab, quite costly. Morning breakfast was poor, arrived at 8am but nothing left. Asking the staff there and they gave me a bowl of noodle soup with blank flavor. However, last one was the worst. I had very good impression at the beginning by female staffs but evening shift staff is another story. 3 times I dropped the room key to head out. Never see a smile or hear a greeting from him. Grumpy and annoy face expression. And the day I checked out, even though, I have informed staffs that can I check out late at 2pm bcos i have business in town whole morning. Staffs said yes I can. However, my business in town kept me busy so I didnt make it back to hotel until 2pm. And I met that male staff again, he hung me the key without saying anything, specially, regarding my late check in. When I came to return the key to check out at 3pm. They charged me extra 30% fee for staying extra 1 hour from 2 to 3pm. I told them I dont mind to pay extra but I dont get informed of charging when I asked to stay extend. If they want to charge the guests, they have plenty of chance to communicate with me: call to the room to inform, or inform at the receptionist when i arrived. But no, they chose to keep silence and charged their guests by excusing that they dont want to bother the guest. What a shame. Danang is tourist city and it is about to open to welcome both locals and international tourists after the pandemic. Instead of, giving the guests a great experience, the hotel chose otherwise. Hope the hotel can re-train staffs, put someone who values their jobs in front of customers, not consider it as a punishment. To me, it will be my first and last. Plenty choice to stay in Danang with same rate.
