The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Great food and happy-hour cocktails! Would definitely recommend it. Great location.

I stayed at this hotel solo for my birthday trip. The hotel wasn't worth the price. It was decent but nothing spectacular. The biggest downfall was, i had NO WIFI for days. I reported it and had multiple failed attempts to fix it. It was eventually fixed about the day before i left. At one point they wanted to change my bungalow but it was almost the end of my trip and packing to move would've been a headache so i didn't move. Management also offered me a free night stay, which NEVER happened, i paid the full price. They promised to reach out but its been almost 2 months and i haven't heard anything. The dinner was good, i enjoyed the whole fish. I didn't make it to the nightclub but i did enjoy a live band at the pool area. The guys at the bar were nice and there was a sweet lady at the first desk (forgot her name), i appreciate her for trying to help me. Some staff understand English well so communicating wasn't hard. The rooms are cool, i liked the showers. I would tell you there was some type of animal that came and pooped in my room everydayyyyy. Im just happy i never saw it and only saw the droppings on the floor. Overall it was ok but when i visit Senegal again i probably wouldn't stay there.

We were blown away by how nice this place was – a veritable oasis in a busy, noisy city. Very trendy and modern with a laid back vibe and African feel. The location in Ngor is great, close to many points of interest, with lots of restaurants and convenience stores located within about 5-minutes walk. The hotel staff were all great, very friendly and welcoming with good English. The rooms are all individual chalets with private courtyards set in African gardens – plenty of privacy. Our room was spacious and modern with all the amenities you’d expect – AC, coffee maker, fridge, TV, hairdryer, etc. The Wifi internet was super fast and we enjoyed the complimentary nuts and coconut cakes. Great bathroom/shower, plenty of space. Everything was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We were surprised to find a relatively well-equipped gym on site, complete with 3 good-quality cardio machines (elliptical, bike, & treadmill), a small selection of dumbbells, and a plate-loaded multigym/safety rack. Also a few benches and other odds and ends. We had some great workouts here. The pool and restaurant are very attractive and trendy. We enjoyed our excellent daily poolside a la carte breakfasts, and ate an evening meal here as well – excellent burgers! There are a few friendly felines roaming the property as well. Overall we had an amazing stay and can’t really find anything negative to say. We would love to stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.

Thé hôtel lobby, restaurant and pool are perfect. Thé restaurant food was tasty and there were many local options which I was happy about. The pool looked divine ; I was so sad that I didn’t have time to swim. Thé rooms are a different story. I did not enjoy at all. The rooms are in the bushes and surrounding by many trees. So, You are surrounded by birds, cats and many insects. The room itself is full of insects, crawling, flying, buzzing in your ears. I spent the first 20 mins in the room killing insects. Usually, I do not use mosquito nets, but I was happy to have it to escape the insects. It was very frustrating also because if you leave your things on the tables or chairs, or near the walls, they will be full of ants. Thé sheets were clean but stained from transport or prior guests. I think the staff need to bleach or peroxide to get them completely white and clean. In summary, if you want an outdoor, eco- friendly experience in nature, this hotel is for you. If not, you may suffer.

Hotel in Ngor, around 20 minutes by car from city centre. Rooms are in individual lodges, cozy and comfortable. Breakfast is a la carte with a wide choice. Restaurant serves delicious food. There is a convenient gym with some cardio machines, a multifunctional machine and free weights. A good option

I arrived hours before the check inn time. Was greeted by the receptionist Thérèse. Thérèse had a warm and friendly smile. Thérèse checked me in quickly and was very helpful ever since. The staff was very kind and helpful and help make the hotel a great place to stay while in Dakar. The location is great because you can walk to the beach and there are many spa's in the area.

I didn’t stay at this hotel but I did go for dinner & live music whilst staying a few blocks away. Came to Dakar for a surf trip & to explore the city. This part of Dakar is very mellow compared to downtown and close to great surf spots. This hotel is trendy, beautifully designed, and very elegant. The food was delicious, cocktails were great, and the live music was excellent! I highly recommend. I would definitely consider staying here next time. It is pricier than a lot of other options but seems it may be worth the value if you prefer luxurious hotel experiences to small guest houses.

we started off that evening at the ****** which was a desaster: they'd place you anywhere in a dark corner, no staff around, people smoking shisha while you're supposed to be eating?!! H-No! so we went to BOMA for our dinner: it was the total opposite: the staff was welcoming, the atmosphere was great and the food beautifully arranged and tasted great. So BOMA is the place to be also when you're just looking for a nice dinner! Congratulations!

My wife and myself are currently holidaying in Senegal - somewhere we lived in the early/mid 80s - and have just spent 2 nights at the BOMA Lifestyle Hotel which certainly wasn’t there 40 years ago. In line with its strong ECO credentials the rooms are bungalow style in nice gardens. As such, these are spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. We arrived after midnight and were disappointed to find a significant amount of surface water in both the bathroom and toilet areas. Why this hadn’t been checked before our arrival is difficult to fathom but checked it should have been - particularly, as the fault was a leaky water heater which had a bucket under it for the whole of our stay. This literally dampened my view of the Hotel overall but it should prove perfectly possible to introduce early measures to prevent this sort of incident from happening again.
