The Nest Glamping Pod

I visited The Nest with a group of friends in May 2024 and it was idyllic. The experience was exactly as advertised, with superb attention to detail. A couple of things to note if you are visiting: There are no printed instructions in the lodges, you have to rely on the website to tell you how to use the stove, pizza oven etc. So if you really want to disconnect from technology, I'd recommend printing out the online instructions before you go. The stove takes a while to heat up so bear this in mind when planning meals. We used a local taxi service to get around (Skyline Taxis Stamford - recommended by the hosts). They were very reliable but the taxis were quite expensive (£35 to get to a local pub about 10 minutes away). We did check with other companies and the prices were the same. Overall, a 5-star experience without a doubt. We weren't sure if it'd be quite as nice as it looks on the website, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that it absolutely delivered on what was advertised.

I brought my wife to the nest for a birthday get away. We loved every minute, the bed is super comfy, en-suite and room was clean and presentable. Lovely and peaceful views. Essentials are supplied by host, ie- kettle, microwave and heaters. There is electric, a tap to the rear of the nest, fire pit, BBQ and chiminea.
