Beautiful rooms and exceptionally clean. Perfect place to stay for leisure or business. Rooms are well equipped. Hosts are very welcoming. Everything about the stay was easy. Highly recommend if staying near Barrow or Dalton. Will always stay here now for business.

It was a nice surprise to find this lodge. Brilliant stay in every aspect , everything is new in an old building, very clean, very quiet nice pub next door everything perfect keep it as it is. We will certainly come back if we return to the Lake District

Fab place to stay! The owners are lovely and very helpful. Really easy self - check in system. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully decorated. So clean! Quiet at night too. This is where Ill stay again if I return to Dalton. Thanks for my stay!

Wow, what a wonderful stay! We were really impressed: smelt amazing from the moment we walked in, immaculately clean and modern. Great communication and easy check in. We thought it was wonderful value for money and would highly recommended! Thanks for a great stay.

This place is an absolute gem and full marks to the management who have definately got this right! The whole procedure is flawless from the self check in to departing. The rooms are bright, clean and modern, bed & pillows very comfortable and an excellent power shower. We will be booking again very soon when we next come up to Barrow. We have stayed in quite afew but this is by far the best!

Stayed at this property for 11 days in total and would say it’s the best place to stay in barrow and surrounding areas.
The price is excellent and the rooms are so clean and well looked after.
If you have any questions/queries then Chequers are more than happy to help you out.
Rooms are cleaned daily and on a couple occasions I’d left some dirty dishes in the sink and they were washed up for me on my return. So very grateful for the service I received and would stay here again within a heartbeat should my work commitments require it.

This is our go to hotel when visiting family. It's exceptional and impeccably clean and comfy. Laura and her team are absolutely fantastic. Rooms are pristine, beds are so comfy. Fully equipped with everything you need. We can't recommend Chequers Lodge enough to anyone who's thinking of staying here...you will not be disappointed.

So suprised when i opened the door, what a lovely place to stay!! So clean and fresh, an absolute credit to the owners and their family/staff
Large shower, kitchenette with microwave, fridge. Everything you need.
A family run business, so nice to see, i hope it goes really well for them. Will definately stay again.
