Unfortunately, people tend to write a review only after a negative experience. We are guilty of this too, which is not of our habit because we have always been very satisfied in 99% of our hotel visits. It encourages us to also take the time to write reviews of all our positive experiences in the future. Specifically, we can say about Landhotel Krollik that it is located in a very good location and has nice and clean rooms. The dining area is also pleasant, with nice views of the surroundings. Too bad the hospitality leaves so much to be desired. We were 4 adults and a 2-year-old child and had a nice booking of a regular room and a junior suite with breakfast each for 2 nights. We also ate 2 times in the hotel restaurant in the evening, which is easier with a toddler. Each time with aperitif, bottle of wine, water, 4 main courses, another drink after dinner... In short, a nice bill. Still, it seemed too much to ask to have some bread with the soup (an entree) that we gave to our toddler for dinner... No bread is served with an entree. In other words, not even with 4 main courses, so basically never? Oh yes, baked potatoes instead of fries? +€1.50. At the (basic) breakfast, refills were very sporadic, some things even not at all. Everything seemed too much to ask, and there was hardly any smile at the reception or in the restaurant. It is a pity that such a hotel is run in this way. Finally, we would like to point out to *********** that a child of 2 is charged €12 a day for breakfast, so not free until 3 years old as stated in the booking conditions for children.
