Sleep Inn & Suites Dayton

Nice and clean place. Couldn't find too much wrong here. The evening counter girls were friendly and polite. The breakfast offering was good and the gal there was fun. The morning guy at the counter definitely needs some lessons on politeness from his coworkers. I felt so sorry for troubling his day with a simple question about points for the restaurant (something they offer) The room was clean and comfortable but is approaching time for updates.

No Wi-Fi again 2023 & so far in 2024 in most motels I’ve stayed in the Wi-Fi is hardly usable I’d do better with sting and tin cans I’m getting fed up with it so I thought I try Trip advisor I stay at a lot of motel 9 to 10 months out of the year I travel for work and need Wi-Fi to do my work

As I usually do, I made a reservation using the choice hotels website for this sleep inn, in Dayton, Tennessee. Upon arrival, I checked in and they wanted me to confirm that the amount was correct. I checked my reservation records and saw that they were charging me an extra $4.00, since I had used a credit card. I had never had this happen to me before and had stayed several times, even this year at a Choice Motel, and had not paid a credit card fee. I thought that this was extremely tacky and was uncalled for on a $130.00 plus room rate or any room rate for that matter. Additionally, someone pulled the fire alarm after midnight and everyone went outside until this could be resolved by the fine fire department. At breakfast the night morning, the eggs were cold and sausage, not much better. On the plus side, the room was fine as was the staff. My biggest concern was that they felt that this extra charge was necessary, when most everyone uses a card for payment and was not noted when the reservation was made and paid for online at the Choice Hotel website.

This was a very nice quiet hotel with great parking and easy access from Hwy. Easy check in and nice employees. Stayed multiple nights. Excellent continental breakfast with super nice food attendant. Very clean. Would definitely stay again.

We have been staying here adleast once every 3 months for the last year and half. My daughter has been going back and forth to Bryan for college. This past visit was the worst. The prices are never the same. We are supposed to get a discount and not sure how we are when we paid over 300 for 2 nights. The bed was so hard, lumpy and had springs poking into my hips. I was told there was nothing that could be done to move us. I couldn’t sleep and with my MS the pain was horrible! The worst was the bugs! I don’t know how but those orange lady bugs were all over our room! We moved the curtain and the wall easily had 15 on it and my last night they were in my bed! When we checked out the lady was very kind but nothing was offered other than I’m sorry and I’ll let maintenance know. There is a hole in the bathroom door, the shower head is coming out of the wall. I don’t know what’s going on but this hotel we used to consider our home away from home is quickly turning into a place of dread and we are seriously considering finding a different place to stay. Very disappointed

I'm very disappointed in this hotel. The breakfast is very slim, the WIFI is like trying to get onto AOL using dial up. I expect a lot more for their rates. The room is okay, but small for a "suite." It appears to be the size of a double queen room, but it has a King bed and a sofa and coffee table where the second bed would go. Not what I expected.

I don’t know what people are talking about. My daughter signed with Bryan College to play soccer so we are in and out throughout the year. The rooms are clean, big and the beds comfortable. The staff knows our faces and treats us like family. It’s our home away from home for the next 4 years! Can’t say enough!

I booked through ********** but the SleepInn in Columbia, TN on Harley Davidson Blvd but the hotel charged my credit card and refused to refund me nor allow ********** to reimburse me for my double payment. The staff and the general manager were rude and refused to refund the extra payment. So instead of being charged one payment of $202.38 for one night, i was charged twice. They don't seem to care that i paid twice the amount due and refuse to credit me the amount for the double payment. They stole money from me! and will not make it right!!

Room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was terrible and wouldn’t stay connected for more than 5 minutes at a time. I did complain to the front desk. They said they would reset it. It never got any better. Breakfast wasn’t satisfactory. They had 2 waffle makers. Sign said they had frozen sausage biscuits (small pre-packaged) and to ask the kitchen person. Yogurt and apples and cold cereal. No eggs or bagels or bacon! The lady at the front desk said that is standard for their company right now.
