We had an overnight stop on route to southern Spain. We couldn't have felt more welcome; the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a good G&T in the bar before a delicious three-course evening meal. This was not standard hotel food but much better and served with care and finesse. The room was spacious and clean. We will be back.

Nobody on reception when we arrived, no bell to summon anyone. Chambermaid found someone for us. Didn't see anyone at reception again until we left. Bit like a ghost hotel. Supposedly dog friendly (for 15 euros a night), but you can't take a dog into the restaurant, only on to the terrace, where you can only get a very small selection of snacks. We ate in the restaurant, but the food was pretty grim, and I wouldn't recommend it. The room was clean, but we couldn't get the air conditioning to work, so had to sleep with the windows wide open, which was very noisy as the hotel is right on a roundabout and only a few metres from the motorway. I'm not really quite sure why it has three stars.

Very disappointing restaurant and bar closed not tolls until after checked in. Could not even get a coffee. Very rare anybody at the desk waited 20 mins to hand back key card no body appeared so left it at the desk. I was not the only person waiting. Worst mattress ever had no sleep

La relación calidad precio está muy bien. Fuimos 3 personas (mis padres y yo). Había un gran abanico de posibilidades en cuanto a menús. En nuestro caso, nos decantamos por el menú del día. Pedimos de primero 2 ensaladas mixtas y alubias rojas. Las ensaladas sencillas, pero no se podía decir nada malo de ellas. Las alubias, como tenían que ser, bien de sabor, con todos sus sacramentos y además, un plato generoso. De segundo, pedimos contramuslos de pollo deshuesados a la parrilla, entrecot a la parrilla con su guarnición, y conejo. Estaba todo muy bueno. De postre, tiramisu, yogurt con mermelada de melocotón y una pieza de fruta (piña). Las cantidades eran muy generosas y estaba todo muy bueno. Después pedimos 2 escoceses, y algo que me gustó es que el camarero los preparó en la mesa, delante de nosotros, ajustando las cantidades de todo al gusto. Algo que me gustaría destacar, es el trato de los camareros, fue inmejorable. Son muy atentos y cercanos. Es un lugar muy accesible, tranquilo y dispone de una amplia zona de aparcamiento. Nos llevamos una muy buena impresión. Repetiremos.

Es la tercera vez que vamos en 6 meses, y ya se confirma la regla de que se come muy bien, la Chuleta bueniiiisssima y tienen muchas opciones de menús. Bien de precio y servicio de sala impecable. En mi opinión, lo único que podría mejor**** es la estética de la sala ( las sillas son de otra época) pero no influye a lo bien que hemos comido ni a la comodidad.

Después de ver durante muchos años un local tan bonito cerrado, al saber que lo abrían, me dio bastante alegría. Empecé a pensar en que un sitio tan bien ubicado y con una materia prima como la que tenemos en el País Vasco, se tendría que comer excelentemente bien, y es ahí donde empieza mi decepción. He ido hoy a comer un menú del día, que en un principio tenía bastante buena pinta. He pedido fidehua y de 2° entrecot. La fidehua no tenía nada más que un trozo de algún pescado que mi paladar no supo determinar y el entrecot, juro por lo más sagrado que no supe determinar de qué animal era. Lo único de verdad que se podía salvar, fue un arroz con leche que le pondría un 4 raspado. En fin, mi intención no es hacer daño a nadie y de verdad digo lo que siento. Lamentablemente no volveré a ir a comer por que mi nota es un 2 sobre 10.

En general está muy bien. Por poner un “pero”, la ducha de no hidromasaje salía muy mal, un chorro grande y esparcido.
