Great hotel nice design. Pretty impressive.

Service was not above and beyond like other hotel conceirege. Servers upstairs felt a little rude like I was imposing trying to make a reservation. Felt stuffy

The room is quite nice.

The hotel features great decor and architecture but this was undermined by a poor experience. The hotel does not have a proper events venue so it uses the restaurant to host weddings and other private events that deny access to the guests of the hotel. Hotel guests should be a priority for this type of hotel and unfortunately that is not the case. We were asked to walk to another restaurant for restaurant service and directed to eat snacks from the minibar instead. During our stay there were several consecutive days including a whole weekend when the restaurant was not made available to hotel guests while charging guests an extra "amenity fee". The hotel has a nice gym but no swimming pool, so the hotel restaurant feels like a minimum thing to count on among amenities.

The hotel and rooms were nice and clean. The fridge in my room did not work, I wasn't there very long so I did not bother messing with it. The TV service cut out one night in the middle of a movie and wouldn't come back on. The place was filled with hidden fees especially valet parking which is why I will not book here again.

We had an amazing stay! The food was amazing and the staff were so helpful. I could have lived in the soaking tub. The only thing that caught me off guard was that there was not a dresser in the room to unpack clothes.

Funky hotel. It’s unique and interesting. The room however, never cooled down properly and was very tiny (we had the small king bed room). The bathroom sink was also in the “bar” area of the room so my husband felt like he was shaving in the kitchen. That said, the rooftop bar was amazing.

We had an amazing stay at Populus! We booked the Poplar Two Queen corner room, which was spacious and featured massive windows with an incredible view of the tower. Beyond the stunning biophilic design and the cool carbon-positive mission, the dining was a major highlight. The food at Pasque, the lobby restaurant, was absolutely excellent. The beds were super comfortable, the staff was welcoming, and the location is perfect. Will definitely stay here again!

My stay would have been exceptional, except for the smoke smell in my room. It was coming from the restaurant on the roof, and it filled my room after a long day. As someone with allergies, it was extremely difficult to get rest. The staff was incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful. They moved me to a different room and even provided an air purifier, which was a great help. However, even after the move, the room was still filled with smoke. I had to suck it up, take my allergy medication, and deal with the headaches. I want to say that the people working the front desk are incredible and I think the staff was wonderful it is just the smell of smoke they they have no control of. They did their best
