Stables Ashbourne

Lovely room and great hot tub. Perfect Location for exploring the Derbyshire peaks and a short walk from the the pubs and restaurants of Ashbourne. Pub next door does great steaks too & the biggest full English I’ve ever seen. Need to go on a diet for a month now!

Nice place, very clean, friendly staff throughout and great breakfast. We opted to book our evening meal at the pub/restaurant attached to the Stables bedroom suite conversions allowing us to have a walkabout around Ashbourne first. The evening meal food was great and staff as mentioned very friendly and polite but a small downer [only small] was the wait for food! We have no problem in going again the rooms are better than expected or imagined from the photos.

Excellent accommodation well thought out, all needs covered. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional at all times. Would highly recommend, to family and friends. Food was also delicious, great breakfast options, evening meals superb.

Lovely, cosy room with massive, comfy bed. The hot tub was great on the balcony and was ready to use straight away. As others have said, you can hear the road a bit but it wasn't an issue, especially later on. We looked out onto the trees so felt like we were in a luxurious tree house. The adjoining pub was great for dinner and breakfast too and very handily placed. A great, little place for a relaxing night away.

I had a fantastic five-star experience during my stay! The interior was beautifully designed, and the room had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing time. The shower was lovely, and I appreciated the complimentary beverages and coffee. The private hot tub was a highlight; it stayed hot all the time, making it perfect for a soak anytime. The large built-in TV, heated bathroom floor, and firm mattress added to the overall comfort. I also loved the big balcony doors, which brought in lots of natural light. Highly recommend this place for a luxurious and relaxing getaway!

Stayed in room 1 for one night to celebrate a birthday - it was the suite, ground floor with terrace and hot tub. They put balloons and petals in the room as it was a special occasion. The room was spotless and beautiful. Huge comfortable bed, air con, powerful shower and the hot tub was ready when we arrived - this was perfect as we'd been walking the Peak District all day. Parking was not a problem. Had room service for drinks and then breakfast - both arrived quickly and with great service. The bowling green pub next door does great food so highly recommend for dinner! As others mentioned the traffic noise can be a bit distracting if you're trying to have a soak in the day but we were chatting so didn't really notice that much. It's a hill walk down into Ashbourne but within a few minutes you're in the town centre with shops and cafes. The tissington trail in a couple of minutes walk away too and Dovedale is 10 minute drive so also walkable if you've got a proper map!
