The only thing I didn’t like is it took forever for the water to get hot in our room . We were on the eighth floor. The rest of the property is great including the breakfast. Staff is great. Room is clean. The hallway is clean and smells good. The heat and air is quiet. The elevators are clean and fast.

Some of the other guests were noisy, but that in on the hotel. Downtown, conveniently, located And easy to get to.

We liked the breakfast and the quality of the room. There was noise from the street but that is expected in a city. Parking was inconvenient but not bad.

Parking for this hotel is across the street which was a bit inconvenient, but not terrible. They have a "bar" area that we visited, but sat at the bar waiting for the girl to come over and help us, but ended up leaving to go to a different location for drinks because she never came over. We were the only two sitting there... Breakfast was very good and had a great selection. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Not only was the staff working at the front desk horribly rude and unprofessional. The hotel itself is in shambles the 1 working elevator was unsafe to use also all the doors connecting to the sky walk were open. The key access system was not working, the downtown has an issue with homelessness. Way too many issues with this hotel to put into a short review.

Nice clean facility front door wasn’t working so we had to go through the alley. But overall quiet facility pleasant staff.

Rather disappointed. Room was noisy, coffee maker in room did not work--no microwave. Slow shower. Very noisy and uncomfortable bed. Good location to Wells Fargo Arena. Thankful for sky walk

I cannot say enough how accommodating the staff was. I came to Des Moines to deal with a stressful circumstance and they were very helpful in changes I needed to make. The room was clean and a good size. Its connected to the Skywalk which was really convenient. I would certainly stay there again.
