Athiri Beach Maldives

Diving center is excellent. Stuff helpful Breakfast was descent but not wide variety of choice. But room was aweful, moisture on the wall with signs of mold, sometime toilet stinked by sewers I couldn’t name the pool as a pool - small thing with water but not willing to use

ali and the athiri team provided the best time on dhigurah! the hotel has a nice beachside location, about a 7 minute walk from bikini beach, and 5 minutes walking to the harbour. my sea-view room is enormous, clean and very comfortable. food was delicious (including local options, such as mashuni and roshi at the breakfast buffet). dives and excursions were wonderful and staff (ahmed, arusha, mohammed and sham) went out of their way to make sure everybody had a good experience. as an example, they paid special attention to ensure that the retired couple in the group could keep up with the (faster) whale sharks on a snorkelling trip. groups were small (4 divers max, plus 2 guides and a few snorkelers), and 2 out of 4 diving days i was the only diver and basically had my private divemaster. thank you for the great experience!

My partner and I stayed at Athiri beach for 4 nights and honestly could not be happier! The accommodation was amazing, right next to the beautiful beach. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and great to have a chat with. They offer additional activities like kayaking and SUP boarding free of charge which is great and then we went scuba diving with them which was such an incredible experience. The dive guide Ahmed was amazing, he helped out with everything and made it all so easy. He knew all of the best dive sites and was funny and great for a chat. Stay at Athiri Beach! You won’t regret it, it’s perfection on an island paradise

We loved staying here. Right next to the beach with excellent snorkelling on your doorstep. Friendly and helpful staff. A special mention to Ahmed, Sam, Arusadh and the boat driver for taking us on some truly memorable snorkelling excursions. We saw a whale shark, mantas, turtles, sharks and huge numbers of the most wonderful fish. We would definitely recommend Athiri Beach and hope to return.

This is the most fabulous guest house! Ali and his team can’t do enough for you. Nothing was a problem and we felt like we were staying with long lost family not a hotel. Ali is an experienced diver and is so knowledgeable. There isn’t anything he doesn’t know about the Maldives. If you want an authentic Maldivian experience then I can’t recommend The Athiri guest house highly enough. Stunning island with breathtaking beaches! Thank you Ali!

A pior experiência em uma viagem. Cuidado se vcs tiverem voo na volta. Quando chequei ja falei para reservar o barco das 13 horas na volta. Na noite anterior a viagem fui confirmar com ele o mesmo disse OK. Depois de alguns minutos, bateu em minha porta e me avisou que só teria barco para daqui a três dias. Imagina o absurdo que isso pode causar em uma viagem. Foi uma confusão, fiquei muito brava. Tinha avisado sobre a reserva no dia que cheguei. Eu vim passar 3 dias na ilha e quando cheguei já falei sobre as preferências de passeio que seria ver o tubarão baleia. Cheguei quarta feira e na quinta fui marcar o passeio e o mesmo disse que não tinha disponibilidade. Fui até o banco de areia ele me falou que era 10 dólares e cobrou 20. Finalmente depois de muita confusão consegui embarcar no barco das 7 da manhã. Me deixaram para o café da manhã um lanche de atum e uma garrafa de água. Pedi um mísero café e não deram. Um descaso total durante toda a nossa hospedagem. Não fiz o passeio que era o propósito de estar nesta ilha tão distante e quase não conseguia ir embora. Eu não indicaria nem para um inimigo. Fujam.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. La communication avec l'hôtel s'est très bien passée, ils vous réservent les transferts en bâteau et viennent vous chercher à votre arrivée et vous amènent au port en tuc-tuc avec les valises. Les sorties snorkeling organisées par l'hôtel étaient incroyables, il y a des sorties snorkeling/plongée tous les jours en fonction de ce vous voulez faire. Nous avons eu la chance de voir des raies manta, des raies, un requin baleine, des requins, des tortues, des dauphins et plein de beaux poissons. Le petit-déjeuner est aussi très bien, avec la possibilité de demander des oeufs/des omelettes à la minute. La proximité avec la plage bikini, le port, et les boutiques est très pratique. Quelques idées pour améliorer encore plus l'expérience: - La sortie snorkeling pour voir les nurse shark n'était pas organisée par cet hôtel, mais ils peuvent s'arranger avec un autre centre pour que vous puissiez y aller. Ce serait vraiment top si l'établissement pouvait informer les clients de l'existence de cette sortie car c'est quelque chose à faire! - Peut-être également proposer des sorties bâteaux pour voir le coucher du soleil ? Dans tous les cas, c'était un séjour magnifique avec une équipe très aidante et arrangeante, je recommande à 100%!

Excellent séjour de 1 0 nuits, très bons petits déjeuners et restaurant avec une cuisine locale et de l'excellent poisson. L'hôtel possède son propre centre de plongée où seuls les clients de l'hôtel plongent, la certitude de plongées en petit comité, le top ! Chambres spacieuses et bien équipées avec vue océan !

Wir waren als kleine Gruppe mit 5 Personen eine Woche zu Gast im Athiri Beach. Das Hotel liegt traumhaft direkt am Strand. Schon beim Empfang fühlte man sich herzlich willkommen und das blieb auch so bis zu unserer Abreise. Die Zimmer sind groß, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Ein besonderes Lob geht an die Küche. Wir bekamen Mittags und Abends jeweils ein 3-Gänge-Menu. Dabei wurden wir mit immer neuen Kreationen überrascht. Auf unseren Wunsch wurde uns an den letzten beiden Abenden einheimisches Essen serviert. Wir haben bisher selten besseres Essen in einem Hotel bekommen!!! Auch die Tauchausfahrten auf dem sehr geräumige Boot waren gut organisiert. Bei der Auswahl der Tauchplätze wurde immer versucht, uns das Optimum zu bieten, was wettertechnisch nicht immer leicht war. Auch dafür ein großes Lob. Zusammenfassend kann man sagen, das diese Woche Erholung pur war und wir gerne wiederkommen. Andreas Hinz
