It all started a day before we reached the Hotel. Dated 13-Aug-23 I called up at the reception to get an update on the Booking of our Room, however the treatment made us sceptical about the upcoming days when we would be spending time in the Hotel. The behavior was very ignorant. We reached on 13-Aug-23 and this is how it all started we were escorted to our room with a short brief of all instructions, as if it was being imposed on us. Once we entered the room we found the AC to be non functional, the Taps in the washroom to be partially working, one was broken even. To get all these fixed we took almost 3 Hrs, finally after the tiring followups when it got fixed I ordered a cup of tea, which was served in a broken untidy cup. This ignited more discomfort about the hotel. Let me tell you all, during the morning brief it was informed that outside food was not allowed, which is ok, I am sure they are following some sort of self implemented policies. However at night when we ordered *tawa roti* we were told that they can only serve *tandoori roti* that too on there own will of time. We had a 15 mins. discussion this, however the *** at the restaurant was utterly disgusting and was more keen to shut the restaurant, rather than serving the customer. The water in the Pool was unhygienic and the setup was gloomy. We had to take the plan to dive in the pool out of the equation. They were more keen to get the payment of the foods served by them and it was really insulting for any customer. Mean while we also noticed it's not only us where being ill-treated, few other people of the same hotel also were facing the similar challanges. There was no co-ordination amongst the team sitting in the reception, the housekeeping, the FnB. Coming to the last day of the tour, we planned to clean out Car, where we were told it would be charged Rs.350😱. That's the reaction I had. Finally when we were leaving for our home we were stopped for a bill that was already paid a day back and the question was raised by the same *** incharge of the restaurant who took the money from us. The discussion closed after 30 mins. post providing all bills and artifact's. *This was really insulting and I am losing out of words to describe the kind of service we received after Paying close to Rs for 2 nights stay at the hotel* Please think twice before anyone else plans to visit Digha and wants to stay in this Filthy Hotel 🤬😡. Please don't list this kind of property
