Southern Palms Beach Club

After seeing some negative reviews we did wonder have we booked the right hotel for our first visit to Barbados, well the hotel was fabulous. I can understand that some may find the rooms a little dated, but personally if they modernised, it would take away some of the charm and quaintness of the rooms. We had an ocean view room, and the view along the beach and out over the Caribbean Sea was fantastic. The staff at the hotel were outstanding, attentive, always pleasant, and helpful. We had tried to book some trips whilst there through the tour company but with no success, reception managed to get the same trips for a better price and on the days we wanted without any fuss, we then trusted them to arrange our car hire and once again they came up trumps. The hotel offers sun beds and chairs on the beach, with staff happy to put them wher you want and fetch a parasol. When we go back in the future we will definitely be staying at the Southern Palms Beach Club

Southern Palms is an excellent Hotel with so many fabulous facilities and it is really great location. In fact it’s so good we will Definitely be returning next year. Whilst the rooms are not luxurious they are exactly what we expected on our first trip here, as per the brochure pictures, but are immaculately cleaned each day. I do have one gripe though and that is the service at the beach/pool bar restaurant. You can wait up to an hour for a drink and giving a food order. Not sure how long you have to wait for food as we gave up the 3 times we tried to eat there. Happy hour never seemed that happy as people waited so long to get served. If they got there act together that could keep more customers happy and make more profit. That said we made other arrangements and in the end it would not deter us from coming back but it improve the overall experience if they could sort this out and then I could give 5 stars.

I stayed at Southern Palms Diani for December Christmas 2024. I loved every bit of it. Unbelievable customer service by Front Desk ( Sally), Daisy ( was exceptional as always, knowing Daisy from Bamburi Hotel and now in Southern Palms! Was beautiful! Special gratitude from the snack bar/restaurant, Animation team was exceptional! Special thank you to Elizabeth for my Reservation ( She made the impossible....possible).....The Rooms were spacious! Clean! It was my first time in Southern Palms and am definitely returning again( this time with a team). What I loved most is that you could see every detail from the pool attendants , food service, animation team, entertainment was well well well thought out ......And that must not have been easy to pull off but you guys gave it all........ Special shout out to Daisy for being so caring, attentive to every request I made....... It's official......am sold! Till we meet again..........

After an unfortunate stay at the Rostrevor down the street over Christmas, I walked to Southern Palms where Jenni, the receptionist was fantastic with accommodating a booking for me on the spot with the few days I had left in my trip. My room was ready in about 30 mins. A basic room but clean with everything you need. Balcony is very large, and mine was a garden and ocean view, could not complain. The wait staff were fantastic and would bring you drinks to the pool or the beach, you can charge things to your room so you don’t need to worry about having cash on you. The beach is simply amazing, so much space and many many chairs available. Hotel provided great entertainment as well. Would absolutely return here again. Well done Southern Palms team!

The most incredible location! Hotel is nestled right in the middle of an abundance of fabulous bars and restaurants. The area feels safe and everybody is friendly from street vendors to locals. The hotel does have a restaurant and the food is great but if you fancy a change try 'Crave' or 'Mimosa' just a few mins walk away. We also really loved 'Pure Ocean' and had a gorgeous meal but also took advantage of happy hour there in the afternoons. This is the next building along from the hotel so is accessible by the beach. The rooms were clean and had plenty of storage. The shower was powerful and easy to use and the towels were changed every day. Our room looked right out on to the smaller pool and the beach which was beautiful but I will say that being so close to the 'Chattel House' area meant that we were able to hear the live music until around midnight but this is no fault of the hotels. The staff at the hotel were incredible. Mekaela at the bar and restaurant was just so attentive and we really appreciated her and the other members of the team during our stay. Kelly, the general manager, made us feel so welcome along with all of the other members of staff. The beach is the absolute highlight here. Not one bit overcrowded, it is clean and well kept. The sand and sea looks like a postcard. We already can't wait to come back 🤍

It was a okay stay i ask front desk for the number for the spa where infinity on the beach use to be and she had a very nasty attitude but i found the contact the spa is blank canvas the spa a very nice intimate spa and very nice owner for anybody wanting a nice facial and massage blank canvas is very nice
