Chateau de Drudas

Really really disappointed. The room was cold. Meal pretty terrible and cold I opted for the cheese course only to b one type of cheese (San nectaries) ) 2018 Wine that we ordered was not available and we were given a different year without apology or even reference to the fact we might have noticed …service terrible . I don’t know the French for faulty towers’ but this place exceeded worst expectations . Hopeless !!!!

The staff were excellent and very accommodating for me and my daughter who came alomng with a 5 month old puppy ! Driver to airport was easily arranged for a 5am pickup. The restaurant and spa were lovely.

This is close to ultimate chill out with total peace. It is not 'handy' for travel into Toulouse so if you come here, it is to get away from the city but it has perfect service, tranquility and beauty.

The most beautiful setting Everyone was so welcoming. The food out of this world. It was so special to meet the chefs afterwards. Just loved everything about this wonderful chateau. The rooms were top notch. Definitely recommend this as a “spoil” destination

Great place, with great staff, we felt expected and welcomed. However, our superior rooms (#14 and 15) were disappointing. We needed accessible rooms: seemingly, the only ones in this property are located in the former stables, separated from the castle itself. If it rains, you'll be wet walking from your room to the restaurant or front desk! These rooms have very large glazed doors and windows opening on... a fence, with a trail leading to the spa and fitness center in between. No curtain, excluding privacy. The neighbor property's dogs bark and place their head below the hedge in front of your large bay windows (not much of a view). Furthermore, we found our rooms small and badly designed. The "bathroom" has no bath (shower only), provides a single vanity sink, and toilets are not separated. The "bathroom" door and closet door can't be opened concurrently, smashing into each other. Furthermore, we noticed on arrival that the heater in room 15's "bathroom" was out of order (how could the housekeeper not notice?) and reported it immediately to the front desk. It never got repaired. On the final day, we got an alternate electric space heater placed in the "bathroom", adding nuisance (but delivering heat at last) in this already cramped area. Decent breakfast. Good restaurant, great taking into account our food allergies. Staff apparently has difficulty coping with too many guests (same number of waiters but much more customers on Saturday evening), resulting in long waiting times, no water refills, etc. The sommelier had also run out of some bottles on the wine list (made excellent alternate suggestions out of the list, though). Would we return? Yes, but not in the same room category. And seemingly mobility-impaired guests have no choice in this property but the rooms that disappointed us...

A birthday treat for me, organised by my wife. The chateau is nicely renovated and immaculately kept. The room was spotless and had a nice view over the garden and pool. The restaurant featured imaginative food and the service, as with the rest of the hotel, was exemplary. If I had a small disappointment, it is the lack of a bar or a sitting-room to sit and have a drink before dinner. The bar (as named) doubles purpose as the breakfast room, and doesn't really do either very well. But this is a small thing in an otherwise excellent hotel. Definitely recommended.

Stunning hotel with the best family room we have ever had! A beautiful duplex suite.

The place, the food, the service, the staff, everything was perfect... An immense thank you to David and his brilliant team who treated us like we were special. The pigeon with room service... The best !!!!!

The staff is simply incredible, but the hotel lacks some entertaining rooms, like a library or a games room. The spa is pretty small but the pool is lovely and the gardens are beautiful. The dinner at their restaurant is amazing but I ordered a glass of champagne and I was charge 20€. I think you should get an advice on prices before doing this. But the overall experience is recommended if you have some spare euros.
