This was a cozy, comfortable small boutique hotel with the nicest, most helpful manager. The breakfast was comfortably served on an outdoor patio in the morning and the food was abundant. I definitely recommend this hotel right outside the city wall as it is convenient to getting around Dubrovnik. I would also recommend not driving a car there if you can take car service, it is a much better idea. Otherwise you will get stuck paying $40 a day just to leave your car sitting for a few days!

We stayed 4 nights in this lovely, family-owned boutique hotel. The location is fantastic right near the Pile Gate to Old Town. The staff is wonderful and the service very personal. Much care and pride was taken in the thoughtful renovation of this villa and the uncovering of its history. The owners really paid homage to the villa's pedigree and original owners with the unique decoration and artifacts in each room. Rooms are modern and comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic and the garden is a quiet oasis from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik. We highly recommend.

Amazing hotel and great location. Stayed 5 nights as a couple and we could not have been luckier with hotel choice. So close to the old town with its crazy volume of tourists, but had a perfect little garden hideaway for some peace and quiet, and wine, in the afternoon sun. Oh, and two little tortoises to follow around!!

Everything was perfect right from the beginning. Our room was ready for us when we arrived and we were warmly received by Tina , Beri and Ivana. The room was lovely on all levels. Amenities, comfort, cleanliness. Breakfasts were tasty and ample. Service was 5 star and the ladies were very attentive. We even had our own reserved table on the terrace just outside our room. All of the rooms in the hotel are tastefully decorated and themed:writer, musician, etc. Highly, highly recommend!

All staff were incredibly polite, attentive and resourceful. Beds were comfortable, and the rooms were well equipped. We stayed for 4 nights, and would happily return to this small, idyllic hotel right next to Dubrovnik, Old Town. Thank you!

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location. Very clean and well maintained. Our room was prefect for what we needed. The staff were so freindly and helpful. Lovely breakfast outside in the gardens which you could adapt to your needs. Would certainly stay again

A beautiful small family-run hotel with tasteful and modern interiors. At the same time the historic charm of this beautiful villa was kept since some of the walls in each room are exposed native stonework. Every room was renovated and furnished with much attention to detail and with a theme dedicated to personalities from the local history. The owner and the staff were Incredibly friendly. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious and included local cheese, prosciutto and salami plus various breakfast rolls, bread, Danish pastry, jam varieties, honey and cream cheese; in addition, you could order eggs, yoghurt and other delicious food. Great location — just a very short walk to the old town. A wonderful experience!

What a fabulous boutique hotel with only 6 rooms. Right outside the Pile Gate, but set back from the main road with a walled garden and its own gate. There are a short flight of steps to the entrance along a footpath, so be prepared to get your case to the entrance when you first arrive. There is a small staff so it's very personable. All of the rooms face the sea but there are trees so you can only just see the sea through the foliage. It's a 2 minute walk to the Pile Gate. It's adults only. A delicious, healthy continental breakfast is included.

Excellent all over service: from the perfectly organized airport transfer to a warm welcome by the hotel crew, great, comfortable, cozy, quiet and stylish room, wonderful breakfast, our stay was a dream come true and the best: right in front of the breathtaking old town‘s main entrance with fine dining opportunities in walking distance. Thanks again to the hotel crew for making our stay in Dubrovnik a memorable vacation.
