The hotel itself is very nice, and the room is comfortable and clean.
It’s a little pricey for what you get, but it’s right on the beach, and that’s really what you are paying for, a hotel right on the water.

Good attention by the front desk attendant only because the rest of the employees don’t said any word to us like any “good morning “ or” how is your stay”…

This is our first time staying at Sugar Beach but I have stayed before at Grand Beach. Both same hotel and almost identical rooms. We love the area right off the water and always book a room with a view. Even if winter, it is very beautiful. I recommend it!

Overall very good. Breakfast delivered to the room was convenient but breakfast choices were poor and food was poor quality. All 3 sink faucets leaked onto the counter. But clean and loved the family suite

We reserved the suite with two king beds and a separate bedroom. The room was very roomy and we would definitely reserve the same room again.

The hotel was great. Coffee in the lobby, arcade, pool, gift shop.
The only complaint we have is that there were kids running down the hall at all times of the night.

Even though its winter we still love the lake view. Pillows are comfy, water pressure is great, rooms are quiet, clean, and front desk is always nice.

Our family was stuck in Traverse City due to bad weather. The hotel staff did so much to make a very stressful situation less so. They made sure we were getting the best rate, allowed us to check out late in the afternoon, and were super friendly and helpful about everything. The hotel is super comfortable and clean with a great indoor pool and hot tub plus an arcade. We look forward to returning when it is not under a blanket of snow.

Very beautiful Hotel with many amenities. Pool & hot tub were great! Right on the beach & Lake Michigan. Also many restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was good. Hotel manager was very personable & accommodating. Would definitely stay again..
