Lovley hotel great staff lovley food and drink second time here Only issue we were disappointed that dom the maitre d wasn't doing breakfast service what a lovley polite and attentive man he is .he makes our frequent trips to east kilbride a joy .he sets you up for the day with his cheerful and helpful demeanor

Stayed in the Stewart suite and it was an amazing room. Downstairs was a comfy bed and bathroom. It has a coffee machine along with a normal kettle so plenty of choice. There was a spiral staircase leading to the upstairs where there was a jacuzzi bath, steam / shower room toilet and sink a huge sofa and TV. It also had a swing chair. It also had a mini bar which contained 2 complementary cocktails and other alcohol which you paid for. We had a couple of cocktails before dinner which were very good. The meal was a mixed bag. Both starters were tasty although the tempura batter was heavier than usual. The prawn and mango starter was excellent. My husband had the steak and I had the steak frites. Both were ok but we're a bit greasy. The breakfast was excellent I had the eggs Benedict and the eggs were cooked perfectly. All the staff were friendly and helpful and very welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.

We just wanted to take some time to thank the staff at the Torrance hotel for making our wedding day so magical. The staff couldn’t have been any more helpful and nothing was too much for them. They were always so quick to respond to any questions we had in the lead up to our wedding too. We want to especially mention & thank Amy, Anya & Dominic, Who went over and above for us and our guests. My younger brother is autistic and after letting Dominic know this, he really went out of his way to ensure Noah had a great time. Noah cannot stop talking about this! The staff are just super at what they do, everything was set up to perfection and the day ran so smoothly. In terms of the hotel, everything from the food, decor and outdoor gardens is just perfect for your special day. The Stuart Suite is also absolutely stunning and we can’t wait to come back and stay again. Just an additional comment - a few days after our wedding we returned to the Torrance Hotel with our family for a meal (which was delicious!) and the staff brought myself and my husband a lovely ‘Just Married’ chocolate and strawberry platter. This really made our day and highlighted just how wonderful this venue & staff are. Thanks again for everything, The Daltons

Horrendous experience....put in a twin room which was clearly a partly separated family room. Raised query with reception and night porter. Noise it wasn't but to hear sneezing, sniffing, coughing and talking is just not on. I put a mattress and cushions against the door to reduce noise. Next morning, cleaning in reception with vacuum on and cleaner shouting over her own voice to have conversation with staff. Yes, compliant made to staff with no formal acknowledgement or apology

We recently booked The Torrance for a 60th birthday night. Just a quick message to say thank you for such a great evening. Food buffet had plenty on offer, and was a big hit with our guests. The event was well organised and run before and during; special shout out to the staff for being so accommodating and helpful. Our organisers, Maia, Samantha and Rebecca went above and beyond in helping us put together the occasion.

Sadly, I have to say a very poor experience. Being charged £3.20 for a pint of Milk, with other poor experiences over the 2 days and to top off, unable to discuss or sort bill out because no one on reception when leaving hotel. I was Promised Management would call to discuss which never materialised. Then had to call again to obtain my invoice to submit for expenses.

The hotel staff made us feel very inclusive and comfortable throughout the lead up and the day of the wedding. They were even happy to include the iconic singer pink and never had any issues with anything we requested. Great organisers very professional and game for a laugh went above and beyond to make our day special.

The beautiful design and decoration of this hotel gives it star quality, the moment you enter. Great staff, excellent food, good location, pretty much faultless! Tried to post this but apparently I have not used enough characters, so let me repeat my praise for this outstanding hotel!
