We stopped by at tunak cottage to have a lunch and we were positively surprised about the quality and price of the food. in top of it we had a great view and extremely friendly staff who could speak very good English. We could have the opportunity to see the rooms and wehave decided to spend couple of days in this resort. we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The food was amazing. Whatever we ate was unbelievably tasty. In their menu they have lots of seafood and fish which was perfect for us. The kitchen in the restaurant and the rooms were very clean. The staff and the hotel manager were very friendly and hospitality is very important for them. The Tunak Cottage belongs to village people so only village people work there. Not the money but how the people feel at their stay is important for them and this is their biggest mission. One evening we could go with the hotel and manager and with the staff to the beach and could catch fish when there was low tide. This was one of the most amazing experience during our journey in lombok. They also organized for us octopus and prepared it perfectly to eat. Mili also took me to the village and I could meet her family. We just enjoyed our stay very much and the hotel manager and the great and friendly staff made our stay very special. We very much thank to Mila, Simi and the great hotel and manager and all the staff. I hope we can come back again and stay at Tunak Cottage longer and enjoy the great food there.

Okay, so I'm writing this review only 3 hours after I landed back in Jakarta from Lombok because I want everything to be coming out fresh from my head and my heart. I have to be honest, I was hesitant at first when my friend decided to stay in this ”beach camp” for her birthday getaway trip. Something she called as to reward herself for all her hardwork in years (she's never taken any borthday leave before, FYI). But boy, this girl was so much mistaken. There's nothing else to describe my 4 days 3 nights stay at Jeeva Beloam besides ”unforgettable pristine beach location with the friendliest and most helpful, most accommodating hospitality staffs I've ever met in my whole life”. I travel a lot for work and I jump from one hotel to others in matter of days so much in a year. But I'm not much of a complainer and this place has nothing to complaint! Like seriously, I don't do bugs, esp flying bugs. But I even make friends with the bugs here. And it's still not the best thing here. First of all, the remote location. Not much signal, but they have wifi at the restaurant which is perfect. I get to choose when I would like ”to be involved” in the real world :) and it is just totally perfect for anyone wishing to have quiet and relaxing holidays. Don't forget the limited electricity as well. They have generators running several times of the day and full-coverage in the evening. Then, the beach. Very pristine beach. Clean. Well taken care of. And beautiful majestic view. I have to admit that the waves can be quite hard at times so kids should be under very strict supervision. But I just looove this private beach. And the staffs! Very genuine, warm-welcoming, accommodating, friendly, and the most helpful people I've met. Despite all the limitations and restrictions there are because of the very remote location of the property, they always try to meet all of your tiny little requests and I love that about them. They know you by name, they remember ur habits (I always ask for ice cubes for my water and hot water at night). It's something you don't get from big-chain hotels and I live for this manner. The food are amazing! I had my favorite sate rembiga and nasi ayam kemangi. And you should try the fried noodle (mie goreng) for breakfast. It's very tasty. On the last night of my stay, I even had steamboat party with the rest of the guests. Some suggestions: - might be great to have movie nights together for the guests to add on the activities. - I personally like making my own tea/coffee. So maybe water kettle in the room/in the restaurant so guests can borrow? I'm really looking forward to coming back here more often in the near future. Nice stay, Pink Beach at about 45 minutes and Kuta Lombok at about an hour.

I booked into it has breaks for one night o I was greeted by the really friendly staff And the place looked amazing i was travelling on my own with my 2 children. from the moment I got there I was made to feel welcome and the kids were off playing with the friendly staff.they miss ash so much even talking about him still So much to say about this place it was so beautiful and the rooms were big and clean staff are all so friendly.It’s like one big family everyone happy I absolutely loved my time here Ellen and Mitch who run Ekas breaks were amazing making sure everything ran smoothly everything was organised and the surfing was great and they made it easy to surf every day suiting everyone’s needs as my sons and I were at different levels ... the journey to the break was so fun too and so beautiful Mitch the best guide and coach I’ve come across and his outlook on life and attitude just makes you smile !!!!! I can’t wait to surf here again 2 surfs a day and epic waves was like a dream come true !!! My surfing definitely improved !!! Not forgetting The food is the best that I had in Lombok by far so so fresh not one thing to complain about and I recommend the fish !!!! Also the veggies sooo fresh We ended up staying five days instead of one and then left for three days but came back here for the rest of our trip I can’t fault anything here and I think it’s one the best holidays ever....

Innit consists of 7 modern villas located on a nice beach of southern-eastern Lombok. It is very isolated location so it is advised to take this into account prior to booking. There is literally nothing apart from the hotel and the hotel restaurant. No shops, nothing. You can’t even go for a walk after dinner or so because you’re really in the middle of nowhere :-) However if you’re looking for a total relax, the it is the right place to be! The first day there was very quiet, we didn’t meet nearly any other guests. The next day was rather busy since there was a group shooting some commerical so the total group incl. crew was about 18 people. That’s probably not what Innit is built for because e.g. for dinner we had to wait for more than one hour to get our food…. Food was in general really good, both for breakfasts or lunches/dinners. Prices were reasonable considering you have no other choice anyway. Service was mostly very good, we just found it strange that they never served the whole family (4 people) together but were bringing the dishes one by one (sometimes even delivering the side dish after we ate our main course, sometimes the soup arrived after the main course etc.). Coffee was terrible. While nearly anywhere in Bali/Gili we got an excellent espresso/capuccino, in Innit there is no proper coffe machine, just some sort of home coffee pod machine from which the coffee doesn’t taste good at all… such a pity Innit doesn’t invest in a proper coffee machine… The villas are nice but you can see inside that some parts are already stained/worn out. However in general it is a nice modern accomodation with beautiful sunrise/sunset views. Villa was kept spotless by our housekeeper who was very kind and polite. What didn’t we like at Innit? 1. The issues with the AC - it happened twice during our short stay (3 days) that there were a power cut-offs resulting in AC not working (they have a generator but we were told it takes time for AC to restart and work properly). One night it was really hot in the room but to be fair the Guest Relation staff were always accessible via Whatsapp and were trying to solve the situation as much as they could. Basically whenever we needed something, the Whatsap response was nearly immediate. Thumbs up! 2. Another dislike was the pool - don’t get me wrong - it looks great, it is big but the water was super hot. Considering it was very hot and humid outside I’d expect the pool to be cooler to provide the escape from the sund and humidity… 3. Beach in front of the hotel was nice and it was cleaned of plastic garbage every day. Unfortuantely the see was still rather dirty so we did not swim in it (because of the algae and pieces of plastics in it). Also the beach right next to the hotel was full of plastics. Suggestion would be to clean also that part of the beach since the guests simply do walk also beyond the imaginery hotel boundraries… 4. Missing fridge in the villa is definitely a minus. Stayed for 2 nights. Generally okay for the price location was good too- just a 5 minutes walk to the bustling stretch. The room was cosy and generally clean, though there were some tough stains on the bedsheets and blankets, which were still bearable. The toilet was relatively huge with a bathtube and rainshower. Since its a semi-open air toilet, don't yet surprised to see some harmless bugs around. Do also note that they do not provide bedroom slippers anymore, so if that's a concern, do bring your own! They do provide breakfast too and one thing I appreciate is that it's an all day breakfast (literally), where it starts at 7am and ends at 7pm. The food choices were good and portions were huge.
