Stayed 3 nights. Very happy. Everything was as described. All staff helpful. Dumped our bags at 11.30 by prior arrangement before watching T*20 cricket at Newlands. Rooms fine. Breakfast. Cereals coffee tea etc provided. Self catering in a shared kitchen worked fine..for evening meals ..two other rooms were occupied. Staff will do your washing up if you wish It is compact and you do share lounge kitchen and outdoor area with other guests so it is something of a cross between full self catering in your own unit and a guest house but this worked fine for us....3 of us in two rooms. Nice area in northern suburbs but if you have hire car only 5 mins to get on N1. Approx 25 mins to airport in N2. Would certainly go again..if long for accommodation in greater CT area.

Enjoyed our stay very much and management was very accommodating. The venue is very well looked after, kept clean and professionally run. Would definitely return here for another stay. Thank you Rosi and team.

Comfortable, beautiful home with no details spared. You have everything you need to feel like you are at home. The view of the pool from your bedroom is peaceful and a nice charm. Breakfast is lunch packs which is novel and reminds one of school days. There is also coffee and cereals available for self service. It would be nice if a hot breakfast were on offer too when chosing the breakfast option. But understand with loadshedding its not always possible.

Clean spacious rooms, comfortable beds and high quality bed sheets. AC, TV and coffeemaker in Bedroom and a cosy view on the little pool. Bathroom clean. Spacious living and dining area.The kitchen is well equipped, gas stove, big oven toaster kettle...everything you may need for self catering and you don't even have to wash the dishes! Free tea and coffee and breakfast cereals! Very cheap laundry service available. Friendly staff always available. I will go back there for sure!

Thank you Rosi for hosting our stay in Goblins Mead for 3 nights at the end of March. Although the rooms, windows and fittings could do with some TLC and repair, the house was definitely clean, tidy and comfortable which suited our needs for the end of our trip, plus we were very grateful to have the daily service to our rooms and kitchen. The area was safe and had great access to Canal Walk Shopping Mall and all local amenities as well as close to the city centre. Our only recommendation is to consider installing an inverter or solar unit for the poor electricity supply especially from a safety perspective. Till next time. Thanks.

We stayed at Goblins Mead for two nights. The place has a romantic feel to it. Very comfortable set up. We had access to kitchen and lounge. Feels like home. Beds are very comfortable. Ask for the main bedroom. Huge TV and Aircon. Rooms have a view on the swimming pool. Recommended if you want to be close to Grand west ****** and the airport.

The owner keeps deleting my post. We paid for 2 nights, got there and the place was a dump. Immediately left, the owner became rude and refuses to return my money. The staff are scared and frightened. Read all the reviews about this place they are all true👆

No parking and no prior mention of this Filthy rooms - the room was cluttered and stnk and many people live inside if it Filthy entrance way full of rubble and building material nobody mentioned this either No water in the pool the pool is not what we saw on the internet Owner is rude and refuses to give me a refund and now wants to keep my R1600 and I didn't spend one second in that place. It's a 3 bedroom home that has been transformed into a 'guest house' Absolutely nothing like the website The rooms are all adjacent leaving no privacy Not recommended

On arrival for our last night stay I found my personal belongings thrown onto the couch this didn't happen the previous day and was neatly packed. The rest didn't bother me and was happy with the access to kitchen and self help
