What a spectacular place!!! Visited with my friend for a few days. It was her first time in South Africa. Experience left such a beautiful impression of our beautiful country and its people❤️❤️❤️ The place and staff were AMAZING!!! So friendly, helpful, cheerful - always a pleasure to be around. The food and drinks provided were delicious and spectacular. Our room was always clean, made up and fully stocked with drinks and snacks. The game drives were informative and spectacular - phenomenal drivers. Transportation from and to the airport was timely and fantastic! Definitely recommend staying here!!! Special thanks to Victor, Benedict, Reyneke*, Sam, Jane, Hamilton, Imagine, Marita, S’fiso, and the list goes on😁😁😁 My friends and I are already planning our next visit back!!!

You can read all the good stuff in the other reviews. It met my expectations for a high-end accommodation in/near Kruger, with service and food consistent with others in this price point. I always look for the nice touches in a hospitality setting like this, and when we got back our car and it had been thoroughly washed (after two weeks of driving around in Kruger), it made me feel even more refreshed than I already was from the stay! Nice touch!

Such an incredible hotel. So unique. Watching hippos and elephants in the river from your hotel room on a train was remarkable. Service was 10/10.

Everything was amazing, especially the Lokation with all the nature and animals and the hotel stuff
only one tiny thing was suboptimal:
white wine was served too warm

Amazing place that definitely exceeded our expectations. Wonderful facility, great salaries, gourmet cuisine, incredible service. Our stay in this hotel created memories that will last a lifetime.

This is a wonderful 5 star property with very attentive staff and delicious food.
We felt very papmpered while staying here and enjoyed 2 excellent game drives.

Our stay at Kruger Shalati was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. The room was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. Every person we interacted with during our stay treated us with amazing hospitality and provided excellent service. When we first started looking at where we’d stay for a safari, our hope was to find a place that made everything easy and Kruger Shalati did that. From coordinated airport pick up and drop offs, to the two game drives a day, great meals, and great ambiance, Kruger Shalati was everything we hoped for and more. I will highly recommend a stay to my own family and friends.

Amazing hotel. Wonderful location and a really chic room. The staff was amazing and the service was very individualized. We had a private tour everyday with the same guide who was an expert and very informed. The other staff was absolutely lovely and anticipated every need. Get a massage! Lie by the pool. Have a wonderful time.

The hotel was amazing. The staff took care of us the whole time and we have never felt so at home. Beautiful location, people and rooms. If I could come back every day I would. Looking forward to another trip to Shalati soon
