Red Sea Hotel

We arrived at the hotel and couldn't find where to park to take the suitcases out of the car to the hotel. Check in was good. We got to the room and it was ditto and no towers. The shower and toilet were not clean.

Pros (many) Shiran, Vivi, Sivan reception attendants were professional ++ Price: even cheaper than Eilat youth Hostel with a full breakfast 1. Room Basic But Spacious + Kettle, coffee, tea, big fridge + Bathroom with really strong pressure and very hot water which is great 2. Parking + 25sh/day but enough free spaces not far, easy to find (I found 3 different areas very close or close enough) 3. Good/Bad (depending on your preferences) Location: right at the center of Eilat 4. Free Sunbeds 20min walk till Maman Beach, but then... free 5. Breakfast ++ very good, great diversity No tailor made espresso nor eggs but then for this price what you get is way more than expected Just look at the attached pictures Cons (many as well) Shiran, Vivi, Sivan reception attendants were just professional, not really nice nor pleasant Room: just Basic 1. Noise - one of the worst hotels ever Not soundproof at all: I even heard my neighbors' alarm clock at 4:50Workers and neighbors spoke loudly and even shouted in the very long corridor. They felt obliged to share their joy and happiness when coming back from a restaurant or nightclub at 12pm, 1am, 2am and up till 4am...awful Fortunately I had brought my earplugs with me. 2.Window and Curtain There is Always some light. No real darkness Fortunately I had brought my sleeping mask 3. TV hardly visible: less than 10 stations but worse, quality was awful) 4. Location: not really close to from the beach (10min walk when …hot) 15-20min walk till the sun beds on Maman Beach, but then again … free But then again... you'll have to cope with rap music or worse "wailing" middle eastern music, at full volume of course. Not everyone cup of tea Bottom line: for the price and breakfast otherwise...

The air conditioner in the room is noisy, the towels are dirty with stains and so are the sheets, there is no phone in the room so it is impossible to contact the reception, the food in the dining room reminds me of a meal in the army, sliced ​​white bread in a bag and cheese in a bowl inside a fridge and hard-boiled eggs, not even yellow cheese, the TV in the room with a small selection of channels and poor reception on the channels that do work, there is no accessibility for the disabled, the only good thing is the pool, but there is smoking all over the pool even though there are signs that it is not allowed (the lifeguard in particular)

Great location near the beach. It was fine for one night stay. Guests were too loud and didn't blet us rest.

Cozy, pleasant a**osphere, you feel like you are in a local environemnt there. The staff is extremely kind, very helpful, they called the bus station to help us find out about timetable of buses from Eilat to Dead Sea, (becasue timetable was not clear from the internet). The rooms are clear, large windows, clean and just the right size. The pool was not open in January, as it is " winter season".. we did not mind it as the sea was perfect for swimming, but make sure you check pool accessibility if this is important for you. It is literally 2 minutes walk from the Central Bus station, also the buses that run along the beaches stop almost in front of the hotel, and about 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach and marine walk. Supermarket and exchange office at the side of the hotel. Breakfast includes lots of local food, which is a big advantage as they are tasty! No coffee machine though, only instant coffee is served so be prepared to go to the nearest coffee shop for a good espresso. The plastic chairs in the breakfast area make it look a bit "cheap", but no other drawbacks really.

We stayed at a triple room, which is spacious. I like the extra bathroom at the each floor, which is convenient for our family of three. The location is good, walkable to the beach and other businesses. Unfortunately its free breakfast starts at 8am, too late for us as we had to leave for a group tour at 7:30am. It doesn't have an elevator.

I didn’t like this hotel at all. The staff was rude upon check in. There are people walking down the hall all night talking loud and yelling. Our room smells like a toilet and there’s a water leak. There are no more rooms available to swap to. Hotel management made no effort to try and fix my problems. Very rude manager and front desk clerk. Be careful they try to add extra charges on your bill without telling you. Overall wouldn’t recommend Red Sea hotel Eliat at all.
