Wonderful small lodge in El Chalten. Very nice staff and spotless rooms. We had a very nice view of Fitz Roy from our room. The breakfast was pleasant and fresh. The staff informative of local restaurants and the hiking trails. I would return this very nice hotel.

Small boutique hotel. Great service. Nice little restaurant. Very good lamb stew. Clean warm comfortable after a day hiking. Only downside is it’s a long walk from the hiking trail. Breakfast included - very good selections. Meet lots of nice people there also.

Roomy, comfortable room. Beautiful interiors and helpful knowledgeable staff. Great breakfast included. Location is ideal. Close to bus station. Request the larger rooms on the top floor. Views of Fitz Roy from your bedroom window - weather permitting.

El Chaltén is a fantastic place. Very few places on earth offer breathtaking views of the mountains comparable to what you will find here. There are great hikes you can do right from the village. The hotel is comfortable (I slept very well after our hikes) and quiet. Breakfast is good. Wifi worked well (we did not watch movies, just browsing the internet). The women at the reception desk are all very friendly and helpful. When we checked in, the young woman at the desk gave good hiking advice, which we followed, and we had a great time. We were so lucky to have warm, sunny days without noticeable wind and had great views of Cerro Torre and Cerro Fitzroy on the hikes that we did. There are plenty of nice bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel (El Chaltén is a small town). No matter where you have travelled, you will find that mountains around El Chaltén are spectacular.

We went for dinner and it was the absolute WORST food we have ever had. The food was bland and tasteless and the chef even forgot to put the ginger in the roasted squash and ginger soup so it just tasted like mush without any flavor. Do yourself a favor and try Asaderos, now that was a fabulous restaurant!

We really loved our stay here, either side of four days trekking in Los Glaciares. El Chalten is pretty small so nowhere is far from anywhere which means the hotel is within walking distance of all the cafes shops and restaurants. Everyone who works here is really nice and helpful and they happily stored our luggage and did our laundry while we were on our trek. Breakfast is good and there is a very nice relaxing lounge in the entrance. We had dinner here once which was good but there are some interesting restaurants in town so we ate out on other nights. There was a little noise from a nearby bar at chucking out time but it wasn’t too bad. Good showers and plenty of hot water - very important after a hard day trekking.

Our room (201) was compact (included a frig - yea!) and the bathroom was small, but everything you need was there. A desk with chair provided lots of counter space. Having the window open nearly all the time was fine (very little outside noise) and kept us nicely cool for sleeping. Front desk staff were all friendly and spoke English well. We never heard anything from downstairs, and very little from movement above us. We slept like babies, after lots of hiking! There is a small seating area on the 3rd floor (where I did my yoga), and a cozy front room seating area with fireplace, TV and couches near the front door. Breakfast was pretty good. It was nice to be so close to the trailheads, so you could get breakfast at 0700 and still start hiking early. They do a load of laundry for 1500 pesos, which we thought was reasonable, and we didn't have to take it down the street. It was ready the next afternoon. Rooms and bathroom were very clean. The location at the entrance to town means you have to walk about 5-7 minutes to get to shops and restaurants. For others, the nearness of the bus station is probably a big plus. We never heard any road noise. We'd highly recommend this hotel.

Just returned from a one night stay at this charming little hotel. Spacious, well appointed room was immaculately clean, bed very comfortable and the bathroom modern. Excellent Wifi and outstanding breakfast were the cherry on top. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful in all aspects of our visit. Price is at the high end of hotels in town, but I would say justified based on room size and overall condition of facilities.

The room was clean and cozy without any frills. Located at the entrance to town. Very good breakfast. Attentive front desk staff. The lounge downstairs is a comfortable place to hang out. We enjoyed our stay here.
