Impressive Premium Punta Cana - All Inclusive

We have arrived today as Premium Guests and whilst check in went smoothly, the service offered is anything but premium. We were not offered a welcome drink and were ushered into a small reception area. The beachfront is indeed beautiful but they have construction on the premium reception and the area looks like a building site which is not at all welcoming. Furthermore, it seems that they have "crammed" the premium guests in with the non premium guests even in the drinks Lobby and it is incredibly full with people and others struggling to find a table and get drinks. Also there isn't much premium treatment received as even in the dining room we are mixed in with the rest of the hotel and there is no "premium" treatment received. The server couldn't even find where to seat us at 8pm and we literally had to walk around the entire buffet as there was no room in the "premium" section and were put on a table with no cutlery in the hot outdoors. Furthermore, the drinks bar which is supposed to be "exclusive" liquor has a queue of over 20-30min with 1 bar tender trying his best to serve everyone whereas the non premium guests have a bigger bar and receive much quicker service. My husband wanted a simple Vodka cranberry and they had no juices available. So he had to get a drink he didn't even want. The normal bar had 5 bar tenders hence the queue moved much faster. Feels like they are treated more premium than the rest. Also the premium rooms are on the complete opposite side of where the premium bar and lounge and beach are and not sure why they have laid it out this way. We have to walk over 10min from our room to arrive to any of the premium parts of the resort. We are also here only 3 nights but are struggling to get a dinner booking in the restaurants as our concierge isnt even here to deal with out queries (we o ly arrived at 4pm so not even late) and we have not yet been assigned another concierge. We hope to find at least 1 restaurant evening meal in the time of our booking. The staff are trying their best, but it seems that the fact they have crammed all the premium guests in with others is definately causing too much crowding. It's uncomfortable and incredibly loud. Cant really see the premium value and wish we could receive at least a partial refund for this booking as this was supposed to be a treat and we paid above budget for a special break but there hardly is any difference between the 'Premium' service and the non premium service.

Look on the photos. Everything was great and impressive. The staff was very nice. We really recommend the premium, because of additional services like more restaurant, more premium activities (water spinning, painting…) and more bars etc.

Our family vacation at Impressive Premium Punta Cana was really good. The environment in the resort is really welcoming and relaxing, and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. One of the highlights was the range of activities during the day—they add so much fun to the experience! From yoga to aqua athletics and various games, there’s always something to do for everyone. The theater in the evening is also a great way to unwind and be entertained. And if you go, make sure to ask for the animator ICE CUBE—he’ll make sure you have an amazing time! His energy, humor, and passion really made our vacation extra special. WE LOVE ICE CUBE ❤️

We are frequent travelers to Punta Cana and we usually to go the same resort over and over, but this time we wanted to try something different. We were a bit apprehensive about our trip, but our fears were quickly put to rest as the resort does indeed deliver an “IMPRESSIVE” experience. Upon arrival we were quickly identified and whisked to the Impressive Premium check-in section: Air-conditioned area, drinks, personalized services. Those incredible employees delivered the quickest check-in in all the years we have been traveling to Punta Cana. Thank you to Madelin who welcomed us with professionalism and warmth. We also would like to underline the assistance we received at customer service during our stay. Thank you to Diogenes & all others. At this point, we met our Majordomo, Guensly, who immediately explained that he would take care of all our needs during our stay. Guensly, we would like to underline your polished skills. He gives brief and to the point information. We really appreciated your excellent service each time we required your assistance. During Guensly’s absence, Wilbher took over. He attended to our need promptly and with professionalism. Thank you! Thank you to Malvin who took us to our 3rd floor Pool view Room to many employees making sure all was perfect. A beautiful bathroom with double sinks and double shower along with bathrobe and slippers. A great main room with a queen size bed and ample storage, a KCUP coffee machine and fridge already containing a bottle of Champagne, soft drinks, water and of course CERVEZAS. Special thank you to Clavel, Wilbher, Denisa, Anacristina and all the others for the excellent room service and towel-flower arrangements. Beautiful and appreciated! What a warm welcome we had at the air-conditioned PREMIUM BUFFET. Thank you to our SEGUNDO FAMILA, Arelis, Dilenia, Angelica, Solanyi and all others. We really appreciated your special attention brought to our very good friend Juan for his birthday and making his day a day to remember. The GRILL RESTAURANT is a great steak house located close to the beach with a soothing breeze coming in from the sea. We had great service by Daniel and Ruben. Thank you. The entrée table is full of goodies with the best fried chicken (better than KFC) WOW! We tried many choices, and we were not disappointed: Steak, Hamburger and steak filet were all delicious. While eating at this great restaurant we were entertained by 2 excellent musicians, Marcial & Bioris. Well let’s start here, the Beach was great and the property and room were nice. The specialty restaurants were good to decent. But that’s not what it takes to make a great vacation. Sure you need those things on a beach vacation but it’s not enough. From the beginning it was one customer service representative disappointment after another. We booked the most expensive ocean front premium room. Only to find that we had a garden view with a sliver of water through two buildings. Their answer was to move us half way through our trip. Our friend’s room was supposed to be the same premium room but when we arrived they got a small ocean front room not the two bedrooms suite they booked like us. The hotel didn’t mention that they weren’t giving them the room they booked and when asked about it they said well it is an ocean front room so it’s the same. After several days of discussions with multiple managers they got 217 dollars given back. By the way they couldn’t move them because they didn’t have it available. Our bathrooms smelled like a sewer. The buffets both the main and premium were often Uneatable. Breakfast was horrible and often they started pulling the food up to 45 minutes before scheduled closings. During the visit we ordered room service four time it only arrived as ordered once. Room was cleaned daily but inconsistent as to supplies, such as towels, water ect. Bar service was good. There is no shade on the main side and lots of shade on the premium side of the beach and pools. Be careful on the walkways because the staff will literally run you down either walking or while they are driving golf carts. They expected you to move out of their way with few exceptions. This resort caters to a Hispanic customer. So the food and services were geared towards them. The service appeared to be as well. Normally I love that when traveling but like I said the buffet was nearly uneatable. Overall the service was disappointing including the one time we asked to go out to a restaurant for a birthday. We were unable to get the bellmen to understand where we wanted to go and they were unable to get us a taxi to get there. We will not be going back. Do not expect to get help from the Premium Management team they were useless through out our stay.

Please, before you spend your hard earned money on a holiday to this hotel, think twice before doing so, take the negative reviews left by guests seriously. We had booked premium and after reading a lot of great reviews we were very excited about staying here. From the moment we stepped foot into this hotel it was not a good experience. Check in took well over an hour. We had to wait a long time to be seen by a receptionist who was frosty and not particularly welcoming, and during the check-in process 2 separate guests came storming in to complain about numerous issues. One of the complaints was a damp room. The receptionist left us to deal with these complaints, which massively delayed our check in process. We had originally booked a tropical view room, however she said she would upgrade us to a pool view room which we were happy about. We then got taken to our room by our butler, Guensly. The room was not what we expected at all….. it was damp, dusty and smelt musty. The view was of a dirty roof, if you craned your neck around the balcony you could just about see the edge of the pool. I instantly spoke to our butler and said we’re not happy with this room. We want the room we originally booked. He muttered it’s got nothing to do with him and we would have to speak to reception ourselves. I rang reception and explained and then a while later our butler came to us and said the original room we booked wasn’t available so we would have to sleep in this room tonight and we can move the following day. The following morning I decided to go to reception and ask if we could possibly upgrade to a sea view room. They said there was a room available and it would be £700 extra for 2 weeks. She said in the afternoon our butler would take us to see the room we had originally booked and the sea view room, then we could decide between the two. The tropical view room was facing a construction site so we decided against that. He then showed us 2 sea view rooms. We decided on the second floor sea view room, we were happy to pay the extra £700 extra for the upgrade. Guensly took us back to our room to pack up and said the golf cart will be back to pick us up in 20 mins. 5 mins after arriving to our room to pack up I had numerous missed calls from him. I rang him back and he said the buggy is here to pick you up…. It had been 5 mins. I said we agreed 20 mins to give us time to pack. He didn’t understand and then proceeded to text and call over and over, causing unnecessary stress! Once we had packed up we were taken to our new room. We started to unpack and 20 mins or so I looked at my phone and had a message off the butler to say we couldn’t have this room as it had been pre booked! We had just spent the best part of 2 hours packing, moving and unpacking to then be told we couldn't have this room! I asked Guensly if I could speak to a manager as this was ridiculous. We then sat in reception for approx another 2 hours while they very unenthusiastically found us
