Impressive Premium Punta Cana - All Inclusive

Impressive Premium offered an excellent vacation. The resort itself was beautiful and very well maintained. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The beach was beautiful, and we never had any issues with getting chairs close to the front or with some shade. Johnny from the excursion team was friendly and funny but never pushy. Wanda at the premium pool bar was fantastic and always kept us with something to drink. The food was good, always something to choose from at the buffet with lots of variety. The a la carte restaurants were good, the favorite being the Japanese, a great interactive experience. The premium is premium, not adults only so there are children. We did find the premium side was a bit quieter than the non-premium side. Overall, a great relaxing vacation and we would return to this resort without hesitation.

Everything was perfect, just wi-fi should be better. In the resort there are 6 a la carte restaurants + one main restaurant, many bars, 4 pools, spa, well equiped gym. Beach was cleaned every day from sea****. It was useful to have a "premium" with a better room, extra pool, beach and bars with a premium alcohol.

We are a group of 10. I have been to many resorts in the DR. Pros: 1. the staff are amazing. they are friendly and accomodating. They really care that you are having a good time. 2. The pools are fun and entertaining. 3. The rooms were perfect. I loved that they had a sofa and table with two chairs. Not all resorts include both. The bed so comfortable and the shower was the best shower of any resort I've been to. 4. The activities. they had a fair amount of activities...maybe too many arobic related but still fun. Silent Disco was a blast 5. Restaurant dinners were very good. 6. Swim up bars were awesome Cons: 1. We paid for the Premium level which i alwasy do but this is the first place that i would say was NOT worth it. You get access to the premium buffet but the smell is nauseating and food not good. So, i would not spend the extra money for premium 2. the Premium check is was a disaster. If you based you stay at this resort on the check in, you would give it a zero. It took our group 4 hours to check in. some of us had to change rooms up to three times. It was BAD, BAD BAD!! They messed up so often with our check in. It's very small check while the non premium is large and probably much easier. 3. The entertainment was not great with the exception of Michael Jackso 4. The change or cancelation of activities. One of our members love Karaoke and almost choses a resort based on this. we trippled checked this activity before and during our stay and was promised this activity. Well, the night of the event, they canceled it. 5. The main Buffett - horrilble. this was the worse buffett i have been to. Im not a desert person but they had very little. Salad options bad, Meat selection ..hardly any. Just bad!! 6. after the nightly shows, you have an option of the Disco or sit in the main lobby. We did both but it would be nice if they had a little more entertainment around the lobby where we enjoyed drinks. MIDDLE OF THE ROAD: 1. Beach was average 2. Buttler was average - not good or bad RECOMMENDATIONS: 1. As soon as you arrive, make your dinner reservations so you get into the main restaurants. 2. Get down early to put you towels on the chairs whether beach or pool 3. Get involed in the activities....the foam party was epic as was the silent disco IN SUMMARY: This is not a 4 or 5 star....it's a 3.5 star. You WILL have a good time if you get involved in the activities.

We had a great week. The resort is extremely clean and well organized. The food throughout was excellent! We loved it all. Our room was comfortable and conveniently located but it was not a premium room. There were some inconsistencies with the towels left by the maid... sometimes we got facecloths (we asked for them), sometimes we gor none or only one. No big deal but a little annoying. The fridge was stocked daily with water but clean water is also available at all the bars and restaurants. We loved the beach and the premium pool. There is a great variety of activities throughout the day. There are plenty of lounge chairs at the beach and numerous pools. One complaint: our butler was a dud. We had to find him (on our 3rd day we learned that he should have been in contact with us) and initiate contact. We wanted help scheduling breakfast and lunch at the Italian restaurant. It's the only thing we asked for and he said he could do that then proceded to do nothing. We didn't hear from him again. We kept being told to book through the app but it was never an option for us. We learned by talking to other guests that it was because our room was not a premium room!! This is unacceptable! We ended up going to breakfast with another couple who had the same problem but their butler set up their reservation for them. We were looking forward to this perk but were left disappointed by Erntzo.

Arriving after a long day to a speedy check-in. The receptionist accommodated us so our group of friends could be together in the same villa with a smile. Met our butler "Guensly" the next morning,who booked all the reservations to dine at the restaurants. Guensly checked on us throughout our stay and responded promptly to any questions we had.Thank you The food and service at the buffets and restaurants were excellent ( one exception was the Mexican restaurant where we had lunch the service was disappointing). The daily activities were numerous,something for everyone.The night entertainment was 10/10. Different shows every night at the theatre and music and dancing in the main lobby. The animation team are ' impressive". A shout out to Cappicino and Raisa who without a doubt made our stay memorable with lots of fun and laughs. Thank you from "your girls". The beaches are kept clean but there is kelp in the waters of Punta Cana. Staff in all sections of this resort work very hard to see to all your needs efficiently and professionally. A resort of this size is only as good as their employees and Impressive Premium have done an excellent job in this endeavour. Thank you all for our amazing holiday. Would definitely recommend this resort.

This is an amazing place to take a vacation nothing disappointed here. It was the best trip we have taken, the staff here made it even better, very accommodating and helpful. Saidy was the best server and provided drinks, kendoll was the best!

The stay was beautiful. Our room had the most amazing view of the ocean. Workers were very friendly and accommodating. The shoes were great and entertaining. The beach was very well kept as the entire property itself was too. I would highly recommend this property and our personal butler Juan De Leon who checked on us everyday throughout the day to make sure we were enjoying our vacation. He also scheduled all of our dining experiences and did an amazing job making sure we had the best time. Thank you Juan and Impressive resort for a wonderful stay.

We were very “impressed” with Impressive Premium Resort. The beach and sunrises were amazing. The ocean view from the room was amazing. The food was good. We enjoyed the Japanese experience, as well as the steakhouse. The cakes for dessert are so good. Bar tenders were very nice, and everyone was very personable. Check out the shows every night as they do a great job putting together the production. All white beach party was excellent. We had a butler as they call them. We like to think of him as just somebody looking out for us. Juan De Leon was ours, and he meet all our of expectations, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He got us reservations to eat everyday, and checked in on us, as well as gave us suggestions for things to do off the resort. We loved our stay, and are grateful for Juan’s assistance while we were there.

Check in was easy/fast..We were not asked to upgrade and were very happy with our assigned building and room. Front desk spoke perfect English. Staff everywhere were very pleasant and helpful at all times. Grounds were meticulously cleaned constantly.as were general washrooms. Pool and beach cleaned daily. There were lifeguards at every pool plus a red "emergency" button station in case of any emergency. Resort was exactly as pictured. It is not an updated fancy American hotel with elevators etc, but rather designed to make you feel you are on an island full of lush greenery and flowers ,with palm trees of all sizes. Food was great, a la cartes were easy to book, meals we chose were excellent, wine unlimited! We always felt very safe, security guards are on beach, around pool plus buildings and security cameras in full view. We have travelled for years to other Islands, Mexico, Cuba etc and felt The Impressive met all our needs and wants...great food, beach, pools, hygene and safety issues.. A big thank you to Willy, concierge mgr who quickly resolved a problem we had with our room. He is a very caring and professional manager who works extremely hard to ensure you have a great vacation. We have already booked for Oct..loved it there.
