An amazing and relaxing weekend . As me and my wife we make a tour of the east Crete we visited elounda . The hotel is beautiful, large room , fantastic sea view and amazing host . Fantastic pool bar with good cocktails and friendly staff . Thank you alikes . You made our stay a dream .

Just returned from Elounda and the Alkies Hotel. Absolutley fantastic experience and cannot recomend this place highly enough. Mr George(owner) an absolute gentleman, and all the staff were superb. Mooi spinner Resturant (same owner) is also excellent. I cannot wait to return Nick

We went many years ago to Driros beach where there was only one taverna on the beach with apartments behind across the road! They were run by a local family. Wonderful people! Are they still there? Two cousins ran the Taverna. One called Cosmos who, if I remember correctly, was a Lawyer! Their mother elative used to prepare the days veg every morning having slept on one of the settles in the Taverna bar! Such wonderful memories!!

We stayed for 3 nights as a ‘relax’ at the end of our holiday in Crete. The staff are wonderful and location was perfect for exploring Elounda. Only negative I would say is the air-con that was temperamental and only in kitchen so bedroom was very hot at night. Plenty of very comfortable loungers infront of the rooms at the front. Pool with swim up was a bonus. Kitchen would be limited if trying to self cater but with so many great restaurants around why would you. Probably the best shower I’ve ever had in a hotel anywhere around the world!

Positives are the staff they are lovely, the balcony and view, the location absolutely beautiful area. Negative feedback is only that the single/sofa bed is very hard, the main bed is perfect ideal for 2 not for 3 or 4. Air con should really be in with the price same with the safe or at least told upon booking that these are extra. When choosing your board go self catering not b&b the breakfast choice is restricting so we ate elsewhere a few times. Don’t regret booking though we had an amazing holiday and such helpful and friendly staff

This is a really nice apartment complex with a great pool and bar. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It is in a great location on the front and is only a short walk to get to restaurants and bars. The only thing that let this place down was the lack of air con in the main bedroom. Overall we had a fabulous holiday.

Perfect location, stepping out of the hotel and being right in front of the gorgeous sea . Staff were all lovely and helpful . Downside for me personally was the room ; I have seen all the reviews raving about the sea views and the wonderful balconies , however I was in a dingy tiny room (112) which overlooked a sun lounger grave yard . It was not pleasant and as such I did not use the balcony at all and chose to not really spend much time at the hotel . The room was so small that there was nowhere to put the suitcase without tripping over it . Bathroom was also dark and tiny with no window ; which proved fun during a power cut … ! The room was clean and comfortable though, the lady that came daily was very sweet. Additional charges were also high- 45 euros for air con , 40 euros late check out , 10 euros local tax … all necessary but adds another 100 odd euros to the price of your holiday so is worth taking into consideration. I didn’t use the facilities at the hotel (sun loungers were all crammed together and not around the pool) but I recommend taking a right out of the hotel to a small pebble beach which was basically deserted every day I visited .

Hotel owner and staff are fab, keen to please and made holiday enjoyable. We will definitely be coming again next year. Mr George wonderful owner, the moon spinners restaurant was superb. Room modern and everything in working order. Only downside is we arrived late and all in darkness but we telephoned the owner and he arrived in five mins to give us our room.

Well worth looking forward to,just drop off your cases , and you can start to relax. Rooms are immaculate and very well layed out , and the sun loungers out side are very comfy , the staff always there to help . The bar has a very good fun atmosphere , Nick is such a great character ,and cooks a brilliant breakfast as well , evenings are always flowing well with cocktails made full of sunshine and laughter by Eacho , the best bar man for miles ,hope to return soon Deb's
