Got home early hours of today (25th August) after a 10 night stay at Club Jandia Princess. We were a party of 6 consisting of 4 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 10. Below is my honest opinion. Food Plentiful but repetitive. Breakfast was nice, plenty to choose from including pastries, cereals, cooked breakfast etc. Lunch was nice also and plenty to choose from, however we ate at the pool bar most days, they serve hot and cold food as well as slices of pizza and burgers. Each night for dinner had a theme, we had Canairian, Nordic, Mexican to name a couple. There is always chips, spaghetti, pizza and a salad bar available every night. They also had an open grill cooking various meats and fish. Just be careful you check your food is cooked! We had to leave a couple of pork items as they weren't fully cooked. Men DO NOT have to wear long trousers for dinner. Shorts are fine but they cannot be beach wear shorts, they must be smart/casual shorts. Please be aware, the restaurant is very warm!! We got told to shut a window we opened as the air con was on. I can 100% confirm there was no air con! Everyone fanning themselves with the drinks menus, it was a shame because I got to the point that I didn't enjoy or look forward to eating in there. Staff Majority seem friendly and cheery. A couple could do with a siesta I think ! Odil and the French lady from the daytime entertainment team are just wonderful, full of energy, cheerful and always acknowledge you. Their aqua gym energy was great! Room Two beds pushed together to create a big double. My 9 year old had a sofa bed (double) which he said was comfortable. Room has a fridge, topped up with a litre bottle of water each day. Tea and coffee and a kettle. Dressing table, chair, big wardrobe with sliding doors, a safe (free of charge), electric points, sliding doors and then sliding shutters and black out curtain. Air con was OK but not amazing. Bathroom was a good size and a decent shower. We had a room that overlooked the sea which was lovely. Had a terrace with a small table and 2 chairs, 2 sunbeds and a small clothes line. Pool Big pool split into 2 parts by the middle bar. The pool was lovely and only 1.1 metres at its deepest. It starts about 3 inches deep and then you walk out on an slope. Unfortunately, the pool needs a lot of work. Lots of broken tiles and some are sharp if you catch them wrong. Lots of the vents have gaps around them and just don't seem safe. Also the black stones around the pool area seem to easily get into the pool, so treading on those aren't nice either. Plenty of sunbeds, however sunbed wars does happen here!! Some people (including myself) leave towels on them and go for breakfast, for approximately 30 minutes, however some people save them early (you need to get down to them about 8.15am to get the ones around the edge of pool) and them go out and about and don't return to them until the afternoon. Sometimes hotel staff will remove towels if unattended, which
