A wonderful place to have a massage. My wife and I had massages there which were wonderful. The two young women were excellent and very professional and the cost was very competitive. Highly recommend it. The hotel is situated in the old city near the main entrance and so easy to find.

The entrance is a little confusing, via a narrow staircase at the side of the entry to another riad, but once you arrive at the Madada, its a beautiful place. The receptionist Usama gave us a very friendly welcome with lots of useful information. He really was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We took 2 rooms, Assala and Pacha. Pacha is on the 2nd floor with its own private terrace, with probably the best views of the whole hotel. Assala was on the 1st floor, looking onto the adjacent alley, a large room with high ceiling and beautiful bathroom. The beds were excellent and we particularly liked the bathroom amenities and fluffy soft towels. Breakfast was available on the terrace and was the standard Moroccan breakfast, but with freshly squeezed orange juice and delicious bread and pastries. We had dinner at La Table restaurant, which was first class. With a perfect location and such nice, comfortable rooms, the Madada is highly recommended. Thank you Usama for such a warm welcome and kind service!

Thank you to Leila and all the staff at Madada Mogador for a wonderful stay. They were extremely attentive to our needs, and quickly sorted any issues or requests we had. The breakfast was delicious and one of the best we had during our stay in Morocco. Highly recommended as a base for exploring Essaouria.

Hotel is in a great location, and the terrasse was a nice place to chill with a book, but the room we stayed in (Salma) needs to be refurbished, giving the hotel an overall air of being run-down and not invested in. Pictures show missing tiles in the shower and rotting window frames. There was a bottle of water in the room and mint tea on arrival, but no fridge, no tea or coffee facilities and no room service. No TV. Plus they didn’t tell us until we arrived that the restaurant was closed for the duration of our stay. Receptionist did make an alternative recommendation for dinner, which turned out to be good. Breakfast was served in the nice airy reception area, no decaf coffee, but otherwise fine with juice, fruit, crepe, bread, preserves and omelette. But for the overall standard, we suspect we could have found better options in the medina.

Lovely riad--the rooftop terrace has million-dollar views. Our room was comfortable (prepare for a super-firm bed!) and clean. The location was excellent, at a quiet corner of the medina looking out onto the beach. Kind and informative staff (thank you Galene!) and yummy breakfasts. Would definitely stay here again.

A modern boutique nine room hotel right inside the walls of the old city/Kasbah that feels like you’re staying with friends. No two rooms are alike. We stayed in Mogador. Perfect for two people. Two beds. A loft. Views of the beach front. There is a lounge both inside and on the roof where you can watch the sun rise or set. Breakfast is quite complete. Coffee. Juice. Fruit plate. Bread. Croissant. Jams. Honey. Eggs (made to order). Or Moroccan pancakes. Galene, one of the managers, provides expert advice. And when we had a plumbing problem was quick to find a solution. And even found us in a restaurant to let us know the status of repair. That’s customer attention.

The location is excellent - near the beach, on the edge of the medina, and easy to get to from your car/bus. We really loved the Mogador room - spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is very complete -- great variety day-to-day, choice of eggs, and lovely/quick service.

Lovely little hotel in very good location. Just at one of the city gates it's in easy reach of the hussle and buss of the centre. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the breakfast more than adequate. We stayed in the Salma room, which was spotlessly clean, however some small maintenance is needed around the shower. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.
