Murphy's Resort

Absolutely wonderful stay in every way. Staff was terrific, they have an amazing assortment of fun activities. We used the free passes to Mustang Mountain Coaster, a must see. This resort is a terrific value. Perfect for families, we will certainly go back!!

This was so much more than I was expecting for the price. The staff is friendly, helpful and plentiful amenities. When we arrived there was Elk munching on the grass by our room! It is just outside of town, or the busy area which is something we really liked. We will definitely be staying here again.

We loved everything about Murphy's Resort! The location was close to everything yet in a quieter area out of the chaos of downtown. Our room was comfortable and the amenities were the best! Free bikes to borrow, free rides on the Mustang Mountain Coaster, a fun pool and hot tub (with towels), yard games, grills to use, free popcorn, live music on two nights of our stay, and even a free cookout on July 4th!! It couldn't have been much better! Thanks for making our vacation so much fun! We'll definitely be back!

Murphy’s is well situated within walking distance of Lake Estes and a short skip and hop from the river walk. It’s quaint from the outside and comfy in the rooms. The folks were friendly, and the room was extraordinarily clean. The resort itself has lots of activities for families and a group of elk even hung out on the grounds one evening.

We always enjoy our stay at this charming motel in Estes Park every September. The location offers a beautiful view of Longs Peak and easy access to plenty of activities. The amenities are just right for us, and the price is very reasonable. The occasional elk visitors are always a delightful experience (from a safe distance!). This motel remains our go-to spot in Estes Park for its friendly atmosphere, great location, and fantastic value. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the area!

The room was nice, comfortable, and clean room. Front office staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. We appreciated the nice and unique amenity perks (popcorn, small breakfast, coffee, dvds). Looking forward to staying again the next time we are in Estes!

Staying at Murphy's Resort has been wonderful. We are in a large handicapped room big enough for us and our service dog. We "rented" one of the many videos from the office. It is a couple minutes drive to the shops downtown and we are right next to a restaurant. Our only regret was to forget our swimsuits for the hot tub.

We had an amazing stay at Murphys resort, rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The indoor hot tub was great after a long day of hiking. The property was close to everything, the wildlife that visits the property is a nice bonus! Would definitely stay again!

Wow! I'm typically a bougie AirBnB type but I needed to make this trip on a budget, so I did a ton of research and saw this place had fantastic reviews and great prices. It did NOT disappoint and I'll definitely stay here again. 1. Perfect location for RMNP. Easy access to Fall River, Beaver Meadows, and even Wild Basin was only a short drive away. 2. Beds are AMAZING. I read at least one review that they were hard? They were supportive and comfy for us (45+ group). 2-3 different types of pillows to select from on the bed as well. 3. The amenities were so fun and a great perk! We chose this property over another for the free bikes, mountain coaster tickets, fire pit, hot chocolate, games, dvds (so fun to old school it). They even left a goodie bag in the room for our daughter. Fun surprise! Breakfast was a bit better than average for a free continental--fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs, instant oatmeal, yogurt, and the typical assorted breads and sweets. 4. Customer Service was GREAT! 5. Fridge and microwave were a bonus and very convenient. If you're looking for an affordable, quality stay in a fun old school motel, this is truly a gem. TIP: we sleep with brown noise on our phones so we didn't hear any of the noise that others mentioned in their reviews.
