Great location with panoramic view of the La Manche and the city, 2 minutes walk to the beach and the cliffs. Food at the restaurant was perfect and the staff were very friendly. Room was comfortable, clean and well equipped.

The best place to stay in Etretat. I liked everything. The hotel is located in a park area. It offers stunning views of the city center, sea and cliffs. I recommend choosing a room with a sea view, it's worth it. You can easily walk from the hotel to the cliffs or to the city center through the park. Breakfast was excellent. The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. I will recommend this hotel and will definitely return myself one day.

If you are reading this, then you are considering visiting Etretat, we would encourage you to do this as Etretat is a place of great character and history, with wonderful views, walks and quite a number of lovely restaurants. Dormy House has a tremendous setting overlooking the cliffs and beach. We stayed in a recently refurbished prestige room, which had a tremendous terrace enjoying the position. The room itself was faultless, with a very comfortable bed. This was a second visit, as we overnighted here several years ago, and had always promised ourselves a second visit- maybe it won’t be our last.

We came to enjoy Etretat for our 10 years anniversary. We could enjoy great deal with our 2nd night free, which made the global stay affordable. However we regret the obsolescence of the room and the equipment, and of the outside of the building. Also the location for the breakfast is really tight (the bistrot) as there were some queue to enter and sit, as well as very packed around the buffet. Nonetheless, we appreciated the kindness of the staff, the sea view from the terasse and the jacuzzy. The quality of the kitchen at the restaurant was also very nice.

Amazing old world luxury at a very reasonable price. Set just above the bustle of town, high enough to provide a perfect view to the beach and cliffs. Impeccable service and meals. Steps from the trails that take you to the iconic views of the cliffs. Indulge and be pampered, affordably!

This is a great hotel with excellent customer service. We enjoyed a lovely room, nicely designed. Food at the restaurant was perfect, not to mention about the amazing view on the beach. Drawback could be room rates which can be seen as overly priced, especially at this time of the year (January).

My husband and I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The location is perfect, the dinner and cocktails were amazing, and the views from our room were amazing. We loved every minute here. The room itself was a little dated but still charming, the view made up for the finishes of the room.

The Hotel Dormy in Étretat sits on top of the famous cliffs, with gorgeous views. The room was very comfortable and had a large bathroom. The hydromassage tub was quite deep, however, and a little hard getting in and out of for a shower. There was free parking in front of the hotel, but not a lot of spaces. One can walk down to the beach via a private paved path, or down the driveway and then the street. Either route is pretty steep. But I felt perfectly safe walking alone on both routes. The hotel restaurant was quite good for dinner and the soupe de poisson was delicious. I regretted not booking more time here. The hotel is pretty isolated up on its hill so I purchased the expensive breakfast; muddy coffee from the too-many-choices machine, but quite a spread of breads,pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, pickles, fruit.
