Fajardo Inn

We would definitely stay aty Fajardo Inn again! The facility was great and staff very friendly. Hoever, worth mentioning, if you stay outside of high season, the swim up and pool bar will be closed. Also, you aren't able to enter the property before checking in (4PM) luckily we were able to get an early checkin, but originally the security guard wouldn't even let us on to property to speak to front desk about early check in.

Avoid Fajardo Inn! They are overpriced, and they also charge a resort fee. They failed on all the aspects. There are a few things valuable for a traveler: Comfort, facilities (like wi-fi), location, housekeeping. Fajardo Inn failed at all of these parameters. They have an outhouse which is separated from the main building. This part of the hotel gets no housekeeping. Also the Wi-Fi does not reach the room. The mattresses are sinking in the center and gave us a back ache. Why on earth should someone pay more than $200 to stay in this shi**y hotel and get this level of service. I called the front desk to report that the room was not serviced. The staff told us "don't worry sir, we'll let the manager know". The focus is not on addressing the problem but on just logging it for the records. I had to go and get fresh towels each time from the front desk in the middle of the night. They spoiled our vacation. We are never staying here again. Now as I am posting this, the other reviews are saying the same. Don't make the mistake we did.

My family stayed at Fajardo Inn, mainly because it was very convenient to our catamaran tour the next morning. However, we were pleasantly surprised by this inn! The room was great - clean and comfortable! The amenities were wonderful - huge pool with tropical landscaping and free arcade, which our kids loved! Will stay again on future visits.

Great swimming pools!! Very nice place to stay. Close to marinas for tours to other islands. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others. Feels like you have the place to your self and it's very safe. Would be a great place for kids with a play ground tennis courts and shallow pools

Very good resort with phenomenal swimming pool(s) and gym, really excellent. Many facilities (tennis court, mini golf etc). Rooms, shower and bed are very comfortable as well. The only sad part is they don’t serve breakfast during weekdays, but we were served very nice at the reception

Very clean facility. Friendly staff. They have great security. Beautiful landscaping. We loved our stay. If ever back in PR we will stay here again in a heartbeat! Lots of room options, balconies with a view of ocean/mountains!!!!!!!!!!!

We booked 3 nights, for almost 200$ each. Aside from the pool, the hotel offered no service. Starting with the room: outdated, no soap in the bathroom, and very loud disfunctioning AC (basically we couldn’t sleep because of the noise, it was like having a truck in the room). Then the location is really in the middle of nowhere: there is literally nothing to do in that area. With that, you’d think the hotel would have some service offering. None ! We asked for the AC to be fixed : it wasn’t fixed (we were told they are old and it’s normal they make that much noise).The restaurant in the hotel opens at 11am, and closes at 7pm, so it can basically offer lunch, which is probably the one meal you would eat outside if you were visiting the region. So the restaurant was useless. We had to pay for ice!!! We asked if the hotel had some partners for activities around, they told us they don’t know and gave us a list of phone numbers we needed to call ourselves with no information on the activities. They refused to call a taxi for us, and gave us phone numbers, again. On our last day, we asked them if we could leave our luggage and come pick them up at 2, they said they don’t do that, we had to insist for them to accept! We couldn’t believe that such a simple and common request would be rejected in a hotel nowadays. Just avoid this hotel, mirror screens and no service whatsoever.

This hotel is beautiful & clean. I stayed with my family for 5 days, the rooms were spacious. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The pool was the best, the water was warm & it’s big. They are close to great bakeries and other food places. Overall we really enjoyed our stay & would stay again. It was also great to be away from the busy San Juan area but close enough to get there if we wanted to.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Resort price for a Hostel (Parador) stay!! El conquistador is cheaper!!! No where to eat, have to go into town. AC unit was broken and noisy which kept us up all night! Yes we put in our complaint but was moved the next day to another room which they called an “Upgrade” so the difference between the two, we had the kitchenette and 3 beds, the other had 4 beds No kitchenette!!! Plus the inconvenience of having to pack & move for just one more night! No consideration for the handicap..the ramp to go down the pool are too steep to take a person down with the walker. No handicap parking near the rooms, have to drop off the person in front or very close to room with walker to go park. Cannot take snacks or soft drinks to pool; their pool bar only serve drinks & close at 6:00 pm. So if the children get snack hungry, need to go all the way to your room to give them something to eat to return to the pool; by that time it’s 7:00 ish pm, their one & only restaurant closes kitchen at 7:15 pm. Everyone needs to pack & go into town to get dinner. Pool towels…at a resort you usually leave your towel in a laundry basket at the pool & get a fresh one everyday. Well NOT HERE!!! You take & bring with you same one everyday, at check out (which we weren’t aware of) have to bring them to reception, otherwise they will charge you for the towels..we had to go back to the room to get them & bring them at check out; how inconvenient!!! Ice, you want ice? Take the ice bucket to reception area & for .25¢ they will sell it to you..Not even the ice is curtesy!!! At a Resort, ice is free! They have mango trees all over & they will sell you one for .75¢ each. How do they have the odesity to call their facility a resort? WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK!!! Oh for the inconvenience did not even consider discounting something on my full resort price for all of the hassle & headache! Attaching my embarrassing bill!!!
