Palazzo Lombardo

Had an amazing stay here the last two nights. Staff are super friendly, rooms are lovely and spacious and they put out lovely goodies for breakie in the mornings too! We also watch the football which was very convenient as it’s next door! Would stay here again :) Thank you!!

It is 35 min away from central by walking, using train is not very easy. The hotel owners are hospitable but we did not like our room it was not like in photos

Perfect location just outside the main centre, close enough to walk in or there are regular buses from the stop a few feet away. Very comfortable room with bath/shower, lovely staff, beautifully appointed! Would highly recommend and stay here again. Toiletries, towels, air conditioning and blackout curtains all supplied. Electric shutters on window. Plug-in mosquito repellent (called Vape) also supplied (didn't realise what it was til the last night!)

The staff are super friendly, they explained all the rules and facilities very clear. The room are tidy, clean and quiet. Actually the location is a bit far from the train station, but bus can reach to the area. So it is not the big deal. The street won't noisy and you will feel safe, supermarket just one to two minutes walk,quite convenience.

- special location, an old, elegant building, tastefully furnished room, impeccable cleanliness -refrigerator, efficient air conditioning, TV, very comfortable bed -Large bathroom, clean, equipped with all the necessary -common kitchen, very large, clean, coffee machine with excellent free coffee, free prepackaged snacks -across the street is a well-stocked store if you need water or food -Our room was on the ground floor, with entrance through a beautiful garden with palm trees -extremely nice host, with whom you can have a pleasant conversation -Paid parking on the street, there are enough places, 1 euro per hour. The host recommended us a guarded parking lot nearby but we preferred to park on the street being a safe, quiet area -nearby I could take the bus to Ponte Vecchio and back I got to a nearby station -the location is easily found with GPS. Park in the area marked in blue -recommended location even for a longer stay (stay in Florence for at least two days) -fair price - The surrounding restaurants have closed due to the pandemic. Stock up from the store across the street for dinner-beware that it closes at 8 p.m. -no minus for the hotel

Great stay , beautiful big room close to transport & walking distance to centre

Our first-ever visit to Florence started with 3 nights at the Palazzo Lombardo. We were warmly greeted and provided with a lot of information about the residential area of the Palazzo as well as central city where the museums and churches are located. Our room was large and the bathroom large by Euro standards. Getting to the central city was easy either by walking or by bus. The Palazzo has a kitchen with a coffee maker and some packaged snacks/cakes. All in all, a very comfortable, welcoming introduction to Florence.

Clean, spacious, friendly and helpful staff, good location with pubs and restaurants in short walking distance. Recommended.

Absolutely fantastic stay here. The owner was extremely accommodating and friendly and helped us find our way around Florence. She waited for us to arrive even when we were late and was more than welcoming. We were shown around the hotel and her English was very good. There was endless coffee and other snacks available all day included in the price. There was also a nice balcony to sit out and enjoy the sun. The room was beautiful with a high roof and furnished perfectly. Location close to a train station and only about a 20 minute walk from all the attractions in the city centre. Great value for money for a young couple travelling on a budget. We are delighted with our stay and will definitely return in the future.
