Soggiorno Antica Torre

因為腿疼，想退房。老闆答應幫忙提行李，就沒有退。結果到地方，被告知沒有幫忙提行李的服務。電梯在這個長階梯的上面的還要上樓梯的拐角，費很大力氣搞上去了。房間還可以，古董傢俱。沒有被子，是起球的毛毯，不隔音。浴巾有味道。下次還是選酒店了。本來説好退房那天下午可以寄存行李，退房時直接拒絕，説不行了。簡直逆天。現在明白他們祖上的榮光如何敗的，直接淪為賣麪條的。

Two of the three women we met were extremely rude. The young woman that cleaned was very pleasant. The room was supposed to be air conditioned. It was 80 degrees i the room and the only respite was to open the windows and listen to the pigeons. Obviously it was necessary to prevent the birds from entering. So limited opening of the windows. At 5 every morning you were awakened to the noise of what appeared to be bread making by the street level restaurant. Which brings me to the 3 flights of stairs before you were able to access an elevator. Not accessible to many travelers. To enter you must walk through a narrow aisle between outdoor seating for restaurants. Accommodation is advertised with breakfast included. The breakfast consisted of individually packaged toast, crackers, etc. from a store. Quite strange and not a normal Italian breakfast. I can't recommend this place even with the convenient location. There are many places with ideal locations. It's Florence. I will never book a property that states no refunds. My fault that I didn't notice at the time of booking through the booking company. This made it impossible to leave and transfer to another place. Don' stay at Soggiorno Antica Torre.

This property has the best location you can imagine; however, it has a lot of negative issues. For instance, the check in was not smooth, given the fact the property owner sent us directions about an hour before our arrival. Keep in mind, the checking time is until 1:00pm. After that, they charge you extra 20€. The worse of all was the lack of AC, although I booked this property because AC was listed. When we got there, I called the owner to request the AC to be turned on, it was off and locked, and she declined my request. She stated it was the law to keep the AC off and that I did not need it. We know that properties with AC cost more than without it. She suggested to open the windows, however, there were mosquitoes. We were supposed to get a room with a view to the courtyard, but the courtyard was a space where the restaurants downstairs keep their trash. You can just imagine the view and noises! The second night, the owner was in the property and told me she was turning the AC on because the temperature reached the highest on that day. I am not sure if this was accurate, but what I know is that the temperature in both days reached the same highest: about 27 Celsius. I did contact *******, so I don’t if they actually talked to the owner. Bottom line, if location is your number one priority, this is the place, and you don’t mind the heat and the lack of attention and rudeness. A nightmare! PS: this property is a B&B, according to them.

This apartment is a “true find”! It is impeccably clean. It has an updated bathroom. There is excellent communication with the owners and staff and they are friendly. You will have everything you need here. The owner has taken care to address the small things which make a stay nice (maps, decor, in-room fridge, snacks and drinks in the room, etc). There is a nice reception area/dining area with microwave, coffee maker, stove, dining table, dishes and utensils, etc. very close to the rooms. Rooms are a nice size. Finally, you cannot beat the location! Right near the Uffizi museum and Duomo and good shopping and restaurants. So glad we found this!

Con una amica abbiamo soggiornato dal 14 al 17 Posizione ottima da lì a piedi si raggiungono tutti i punti d ' interesse. L' affaccio su Piazza della Signoria è unico. Simona che ci ha accolte simpaticissima, disponibile. Consigliatissimo Cinzia

Il soggiorno antica torre affaccia su piazza della Signoria in pieno centro, infatti è a 5/10 minuti a piedi da tutti i luoghi più caratteristici e importanti di Firenze. Le camere sono ben curate e c’è molto pulito. La colazione è buona, ci si serve con quello che si ha nel proprio mini bar che contiene succhi, latte, acqua ecc., e vicino vi sono biscotti, caffè, piccole marmellate e altro. Lo Staff è molto gentile, competente ed è sempre disponibile per qualsiasi cosa! Grazie Pamela e Simona, ci rivedremo sicuramente !!
