Hotel Nella

I was concerned about choosing this hotel based on the fact that it was one-star. It may be technically one-star but has five-star friendliness, cleanliness, and location. If you are arriving/departing from Santa Maria Novella Station, it is a five-minute walk. I usually avoid areas near train stations but this hotel is tucked away on a very pleasant street with many locations to stop for a drink or something to eat. Minutes walk to the central market and Medici San Lorenzo quarter. Everywhere is within easy walking distance on pleasant, interesting streets. The staff at hotel Nella could not have been nicer and their service was warm and natural. We had an issue with booking through a third-party website and were contacted directly by the hotel who efficiently sorted everything. I would recommend booking directly and communication was excellent. A special word of thanks to Alejandrain in this respect. Amenities are basic but good. If you intend to spending a lot of time in your hotel, it is probably not for you. I could not, however, imagine spending much time in a hotel that has one of the most beautiful cities in the world outside it's front door! If you want a good value hotel in a great location, that is spotlessly clean, you can do no better than Hotel Nella.

About 10 min walk from the station and Alemanni tram stop. An old street which brings you out near the Duomo, lined with cafés & trattorias. Our room was quite large, by Italian standards, and kept spotless by Alexandra. She was a mine of useful information, kept in touch throughout our late arrival, and even insisted on carrying our 20Kg suitcase up and down the 2 flights of stairs! On top of everything she was re-decorating one of the rooms till late at night. Breakfast was at a friendly little café down the street. A great 4 night stay.

Paola, Roberto and Alessandra were excellent hosts. They gave us tips where to eat and where to enjoy ourselves. Besides the hotel room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. We all had a kettle in the room and tea available too. We also had a wine opener in each room....these small things make your stay a pleasant and comfortable one.

Great location as its in the center and close to everything. The beds were super comfortable and the room was very clean. The service provided was even better as the staff took the time to explain to us which restaurants/places to visit!

Hôtel idéalement situé au cœur de Florence, proche des monuments historiques, du centre-ville et des transports (train, bus, tramway). Merci à Alejandra qui nous a très bien accueilli et qui s’est occupée de nous tout au long de nos 3 jours sur place. La chambre était propre, spacieuse avec climatisation. Les soirs nous n’entendions aucun bruit venant de la rue malgré les restaurants et bar non loin de là. Alejandra nous a très bien conseillé sur ce qu’il y avait à faire à Florence et surtout où bien manger alors encore merci à elle. C’est un petit hôtel très cosy et très bien situé, vivement recommandé !

Είναι αυτό που βλέπετε στις φωτογραφίες...Μόλις 10 (κι αν) με τα πόδια από την Duomo και τα πιο πολλα αξιοθέατα της Φλωρεντίας...Με φιλικό προσωπικό ...Νιώθεις σαν στο σπίτι σου...Τα δωμάτια του πεντακάθαρα και όσο άνετα χρειάζετε...Το πρωινό ισως να το ήθελα πιο πλούσιο αλλά αυτό είναι το ιταλικό πρωινό και πως μπορείς να διαφωνήσεις σε αυτό;Επιλέξτε το με τα χίλια...

Struttura a pochi passi dalla stazione centrale di Firenze S.M.N. Ottima accoglienza,disponibilità e gentilezza da parte di tutto lo staff. Pulizia eccellente. Ci ritorneremo appena sarà possibile. 5 stelle per voi ♥️

Al nostro arrivo in Hotel siamo stati accolti dal Sig. Roberto, persona squisita e gentilissima che con molta premura ci ha condotti al ricevimento e ci ha dato indicazioni su Firenze e sulla struttura. Un dialogo armonioso ci ha subito messo a nostro agio e nella sua persona ci siamo sentiti a casa. La camera ha tutti i comfort immaginabili! Biancheria da letto e da bagno, forniti dalla struttura, vengono cambiate ogni giorno dalla cameriera ai piani (anche lei persona disponibilissima e cordiale). La colazione viene servita in un bar ad angolo (Bar degl’Innocenti) a 20 mt dalla struttura. Come ben indicato nelle foto sulla colazione, si ha la possibilità di scegliere fra una bevanda calda, una pasta e un succo. Abbiamo trovato baristi gentili, che ci hanno trattato come persone di famiglia sin da quando abbiamo messo piede nel bar! La struttura ha una posizione strategica: vicino (ma non troppo) alla stazione e soprattutto al centro, alla cattedrale di S.M. del Fiore e da lì a tutta Firenze! Insomma, che dire…non ci sono parole! Firenze una città meravigliosa, ricca di persone accoglienti e calorose; non abbiamo di che dire, se non un profondo ed immenso GRAZIE!

Abbiamo soggiornato qui tre notti, camere pulite, Roberto e Alejandra sono gentilissimi. A due passi dalla stazione dei treni, e nel giro di 5 minuti sei a palazzo vecchio. Sembra di essere a casa tua. Alejandra in bocca al lupo per la tua nuova avventura.
