Hotel Albatros

We are currently here. It is unbelievable. I would highly recommend this place in a heartbeat. It is a 5 star all the way. The staff of Luigi Savino , Vanessa Raicaldo and Ermina are absolutely amazing. I am here with my wife Elle Iannelli and two teenage daughters and they ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. The view is extraordinary from every room. The drinks are all absolutely delicious, and so is the food. We will definitely be coming back.

An absolutely amazing experience! The staff were exceptionally accommodating, the facilities were beyond expectation, as good as the pictures are, the views and facilities are even better, and the food was to die for, commendation to the chef. Kudos to those whose names I remember, Pino for his gracious help at check in, Giovanni, Fabiana, and Cito, excellent table service, Donatella forcall her help with bus schedule and tickets. Most importantly, head waiter and chef! Awesome breakfast. I simply cannot speak highly enough about the place. Dinner is a must! Eat there one night, you won't go elsewhere. Antipasta buffet is a meal in itself. I forgot to mention rhe pool, so relaxing! And best of all the price was right for two old ladies, 78 and 75. Note: take ferry to Forio not Ischia as we did, hotel shuttle will pick you up, otherwise cab is expensive.

From the moment we walked into the Hotel Albatros, we loved this place. Very friendly staff, so helpful, staff speaks English and German (maybe French as well, I don't know) but I enjoyed speaking Italian with them. very charming. Breakfast buffet excellent! Great variety. Dinner was also fine, suitable for vegetarians, and includes an Antipasti buffet and some delicious cakes and desserts also. We were really impressed. Due to bad weather, we couldn't take advantage of the super pool area, pool bar, rooftop bar etc. But really recommend this hotel. Parking available, Shuttle bus available upon demand, bus stop also not too far, so really a great place to enjoy Ischia - plus: watching the sunset while you are having your dinner.... Priceless! we just loved it.

Everything are better than expected!!! The location is perfect just between beach - Spa - Village , just at the Seaside in the sunset. The place seems to be just newbuild in a classical style (recently renovated), and a nice pool and bar area. The Staff is both super professional and personal - like a 5 star familyhotel. Every dinner they presented was very tasteful Italian food.

Despite the hotel photographs the older part of the hotel is right on quite a busy road. The newer rooms where we stayed seem much larger and quieter as they overlook the pool/gardens. Our main problem was with the staff in the dining room on the first evening we were there who seemed totally disorganised and overwhelmed and the only response they could manage was to shout at each other and the guests. We were given a wine list but as I was eating my first course at the time I didn't order, big mistake. Two further courses later no-one had taken the order despite several attempts to gain some service and with people around us, who had arrived later, being served. I complained to the restaurant manager who seemed to suggest what did we expect, then to the guy in reception, who's only excuse was that they had had quite a few people check in that day, like that was our problem. We then asked if we could get a drink at the bar to be told it would be five minutes, but having been told several times in the restaurant that it would be one minute we chose not to stay. Thanks to say the following evening was much calmer even though the quality of food had hardly improved but unfortunately the damage had already been done.

Il personale accogliente e Disponibile, molto professionale, La struttura idonea per un buon soggiorno e situata in ottima posizione, bella la piscina con terrazza vista mare, buona la colazione........... Ci siamo trovati bene.....

Struttura molto grande e ben organizzata. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, ci hanno dato consigli e inoltre consentito di usufruire dei servizi prima del check in e dopo il check out. L’hotel si trova in prossimità del centro di Forio, raggiungibile con navetta o con una piacevole passeggiata di 10/15 minuti. Gli spazi sono ben tenuti e puliti, migliorerei solo la pulizia delle camere. Le camere sono molto grandi, dotate sia di vasca che di doccia. La colazione è abbondante con una vasta scelta.

Abbiamo soggiornato nella settimana centrale di agosto in 4 , posto strategico, poco distante dai Poseidon. Pulito accogliente, personale disponibile e sempre gentile. Un bellissimo terrazzo con piscina offre fantastica vista sul mare, oltre all aperitivo con musica. Colazione ricca. La cena sempre impeccabile, piatti gustosi e di alta qualità grazie al grande chef Ciro Buono. Super consigliato.

Meraviglioso...., dalla location a tutto il personale, sempre attento alle necessita' dei clienti. Un grazie di cuore al bravissimo chef Ciro Bruno da stella, al maitre Giovanni Ricchetti comandante impeccabile, a Beida per la sua professionalita' e gentilezza, a Marco sempre sorridente e fonte di infinite informazioni.. ci si sente in famiglia....a presto.
