This is a unique National Park property, right on a bluff overlooking the ocean. We stayed in a motel-style room, which met our needs but was nothing special. At this place, it's not about the facilities, it's about location location location.

Location, and staff were so great! I loved that we had a private balcony facing the ocean. We just wished it was alittle more cleaner but all the good parts made it fine for us. Make sure to bring maybe flip flops to walk around the room and shower and check your sheets before sleeping.

Rooms well appointed for a short or long stay. Very clean / tidy. Helpful staff and amazing location.

Pros:
Beautiful ocean view and easy access from hwy 101. The restaurant on site has amazing food!
Cons
But our room had no wifi connection and very poor cellphone reception. The room is also a bit run down with old carpet and loose electric outlets.

Have been staying at Kalaloch for years.
There are beautiful ocean views & sunsets. It is just a wonderful place to relax

Stayed during destruction of cabins next to the cabin we were staying in. Noise, construction vehicles and traffic disrupted an otherwise peaceful visit. Also, price for the cabin more than doubled when we had to delay our arrival by 1 day. Will likely not return to this lovely setting due to our disappointing experience.

I can understand about the Internet or service in general because of the remote location although they could get Starlink or something similar for Wi-Fi. There was no hot water. I took two showers that were barely warm. Appears to be construction going on which wasn’t pleasant, but other than that the location is great for sightseeing

Beautiful, secluded area. Because of erosion, the beach is only accessible through the campground about 1/4 mile from the lodge. The food in the restaurant was good. I would stay here again.
