There was lots of construction but the Westin was amazing! The staff was extremely kind and helpful! The room was comfortable and great view!

The hotel is in a great location, lots of restaurants and shops to walk to. beach is beautiful, pool area amazing, room comes with two free beach chairs daily.

Great stay for my daughter and I for a weekend away. The only thing I would change is the volume and type of music played in the pool area. It was very loud even all the way on the beach

This was our second stay since our 15th anniversary. We were disappointed in the room. The bathroom door was broken and the shower. We had to request twice to have it fixed. The appearance of the room seemed as a rushed renovation. The shower had rust like if it hadn't been used in a long time. We felt as if we were provided a room that normally isn't used. We love Fort Lauderdale but have decided that we look into another hotel next year. Also, this was our first travel since a major surgery I had so my husband and I were really looking forward to this getaway.

Awful smell by the pool, they told us they were cleaning the restaurant grease traps. Freezing rooms. Outdated overall.

Staff was great, super friendly and personable. Melva was out front desk angel and she was super kind to us and our family, went out of her way to make sure we had a great time.
The spa day was amazing! Everyone was so helpful and attentive!.
A couple of small hiccups with the valet service but all in all it was a wonderful stay. We will be back

The service was exceptional. The restaurant, Lona/Tinta, was delicious. The beach and pool areas were very clean. The hotel is within distance of many restaurants and stores. The gym is decent for a hotel, my only suggestion would be to lose two treadmills and add a smith machine. Otherwise, pretty good. They have both beach yoga and spin classes, and the instructors are great.

Overall, we had a good time. We used the gym every day and sat by the pool or went to the beach which was great. But I'm glad it was just my mom and I because the bathroom situation was less than ideal. It was a pocket door with vented slots all down it and there was a push in window. You can hear absolutely everything anyone is doing in the bathroom and you can see into the bathroom with all the cracks. There was also a ton of dust built up on a vent over the bathroom mirror that was then building up on the mirror. We also came back from the pool at 4:30 and our room still hasn't been serviced,.. so as we were showering and getting ready for dinner they tried to come in. I was mind blown they hadn't done our room yet. We had been gone since 9am! And the giant thick comforter was odd for a hotel. Nice but I woke up sweating every night. And without it, I was freezing. Easy simple changes they need to make to really make this a 4 star hotel. I've stayed at Westin's before and this one needs a little work. But the staff was nice, location is great, and the food was good.
