I had a great time. I wish they would have had more restaurant options. 3 places served almost the same food. Pool was very large but had a hard time getting chairs due to the fact they let outsiders in and that made it difficult for people staying at the resort. different system needs to be worked out. Chairs had numbers on them so guests should have been able to reserve them first. if they missed their time in the morning then the chair is given up.

It’s still getting back to things after the hurricane two years ago. But it’s trying. Slowly but surely. The resort is really the only thing good right now in this area

Great new property right on the beach in Fort Myers. The pool area is really nice and the hotel was clean and relaxing. Nice vibe on the elevated outdoor area. The resort recently opened and they need to work on improving the food quality, choice, and service.

It was a beautiful property and extremely clean. Lots of dining options. The pool was gorgeous. The prices are outrageous. Everything is much too expensive.

The service is either a hit or miss depending on the person working. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, once out of the building there was no direction where to go and no explanation what happened. They didn’t honor our email with no resort fees or commentary beach chairs at the time of check in. The hotel said the email was misleading and not specific with the dates, so our bill was more than we expected.

We did not like the pool accommodations. The resort was allowing large numbers of non residents into the pool area daily which displaced many of the residents of the hotel from not be able to have pool chairs. Many people were holding chairs all day with their non resident day passes for the pool area. The pool is one of our top reasons for vacationing here.

We enjoyed our stay at Margaritaville. It was adequately staffed with friendly employees. We found it a nice place to relax.

The property is beautiful. The expenses that are added after you book an already expensive trip is what was the most disappointing factor of the trip. There is a daily resort fee, and an unavoidable valet parking fee for you if you flew in and rented a car. My family had no option as we had a 10.5 hour flight delay and the fastest way to get to Margaritaville before the midnight check in deadline was to rent a car, so we did…$60/day to park on top of $40/day for resort fees on top of not being allowed to carry your own water to their pool that is across the street. The room was beautiful however noisy and next to a street that traffic runs down all night long, including the police and their multiple pull overs a day/night. For the amount of money you spend to go, they could have factored their fees into the booking rather than charging you $100/day on anrrival for incidentals and finding a way to keep it all.
