Excellent location, could not be more central. Rustic decor in keeping with the place. Food was excellent and staff were very helpful. Parking is charged extra.

For a first trip to Forth Worth, this is the place to stay! Right in the thick of the historic area and walkable to everything! Would definitely stay here again. But if you are looking or a quieter stay, this is not it. We loved that everything was decorated in the stockyards theme however small things could be upgraded such as bathroom fixtures and electric receptacles (most were not tight and sometimes didn’t work).

Love the ambiance of the hotel. But there was no one to help with luggage. My room could have been cleaner. There was some sort of plastic wrap on the floor in the bathroom and my coffee cup wasn’t clean. But the worse thing was the sink would not drain. We told manager but it was not resolved.

This hotel has been on my bucket list for a long time. Great location for food and entertainment. It’s a little dated but that’s the nostalgia of the hotel.

Despite the shabby old bathroom being grungy, old fashioned and very badly in need of replacing, we still enjoyed our stay!
Instead of a proper shower there was just a basic retro shower over a bath!
Even worse it had an old fashioned 1970s style shower curtain - rather than panels.
And - worse still - it just had one shower head with no " microphone" type attachments. This meant I couldn't wash my hair!
I haven't seen shower fittings like this since the early seventies!
Our room was warm though - in freakishly cold weather. But again the heating seemed old-fashioned - with noisy hot air blowing everywhere. But it did the job

Hotel is in a great location, near everything to do in the Stockyard area. Noisy due to being on the main street. The bathroom left a lot to be desired. I get that they were going for the older west look, but the toilet was old, peeling paint on the ceiling, old tub and no luxuries. The shower broke our last day, the clicker needed fresh batteries as did the thermostat. Overall, the old west experience could have been updated.

Definitely a must stay for your first time at the Stockyards! Great old hotel in an amazing location. Everything is within walking distance.

I wish they would of told us how much each night was, it started out 190.00 one night then every night was more money, 300.00 to 500.00 a night, we kept getting messages from our bank money coming out of our account every day it was crazy, not sure if we will stay there again it was a very cool place to stay, but we weren’t there much so busy with Mustang Magic that was another thing when called to make reservations they told me a 5 minute walk, nope we had to drive 20 minutes to get there, and no one new what we talking about when we got there, but it was a good time in Ft. Worth,

A favorite of ours to visit. The nostalgia of such an old hotel and what has all happened around it makes it so fun. I love the location due to all the shopping and great food all within walking distance of it.
