Just a one night stay. Superior twin / double with lagoon view. View was impressive. Very short walk to beach. Small room but very comfortable. Juliet balcony so not big enough to sit on but lovely sitting in room with balcony door open looking over lagoon. Excellent breakfast buffet with cooked breakfast options, cold meats, smoked salmon, cereals and fruit. Great value for money in February.

We booked this hotel last year as we are driving from Faro to Lisbon and had stayed at a local hotel previously and liked the area. This hotel needs to be knocked down and re built, it is shabby beyond words and needs complete renovation. The room we were first given was damp, the furniture was only suitable for a dump , the blankets on the bed were antique and the floor was broken and worn and towels were ripped. There were damp spots all over the walls and the bedspreads were stained and faded. I had to ask to move as it was affecting my breathing . Second room, although not damp, was still shabby and not worth the amount we paid. The whole place is grubby, shabby and needs renovation , breakfast was very average too. Swimming pool is nice if you are able to climb all the way to the top to get to it . The best thing about this place are the cute cats that roam around. We have stayed in many hotels around the world, many in Portugal too, and this is by far the worst .

We really enjoyed our week in Inatel. Big and comfortable bedroom, very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent location, from our room we had the nice view of Óbidos lake and the sea. Just 30 minutes from Caldas da Rainhas. I recommend without fear you won’t be disappointed. We’ll be returning there happily.

Great view from the hotel, beds were comfortable and great buffet breakfast selection.
The cleaning or laundry products used left quite an intense smell in the rooms which wouldn’t go away even with the windows open. The fridges in both our rooms didn’t work which was inconvenient as we had to store medication, and the reception staff member didn’t speak English. The showers also didn’t close properly so a lot of water leaked on the floor.

It is a nice property with multiple buildings on a hill side, and across the street is a large beach, with some good restaurants and an easy to drive road that takes you up or down the coast. Lisbon is only 1 hour's drive away. Has a nice bar with food as well. Nice people around at work!

Lovely views from this hotell. Nice surroundings with nice green areas. Lovely staff that is very friendly. Ok breakfast. Also with great views. Close to the beaches. Clean rooms. But could need more sockets for electric stuff. Going back.
