I will start with the bad part. I booked a room for 1 night, one month in advance. 48 hours before my arrival, I received an email stating that they are overbooked and that they are relocating me to another 25Hours hotel with an upgrade and they wrote: "If this is not an adequate solution for your stay in Frankfurt, we of course offer the opportunity to cancel your existing booking free of charge – regardless of the reservation status and cancellation policy booked. " After a few emails, I demanded that any further communication should be by phone and through the Hotel Manager. I was notified that the Hotel Manager will call me "Shortly" and the Manager never called. I emailed them back that I will go to the hotel and I expect to have a room ready and that I expect to meet the Manager who promised to call and never did. The Next day, I went to the hotel, found my room ready to check in, and I asked to see the hotel manager. The receptionist went to the Manager, then came back and told me that the manager is not available (Although I know he/she is there from the staff). Rule #1: When a guest asks to speak to the manager, the manager should respond and not avoid the guest. Ignoring such a request and failing to fulfill a promise to call "Shortly" only indicates a very very weak and unprofessional management. It also means DISRESPECT to the guest. You could have had someone else call or meet me one behalf of your and represents hotel management. Now the Good part: Rooms are small but nice. The staff at the restaurant are very friendly. The staff at check-in need some training. Breakfast buffet doesn't have a huge variety but convenient. The location of the hotel is very good. Bottom Line: This hotel should be a two/three stars hotel not a four stars. Next time I will stay in another hotel.
