The hotel fulfilled it's expected cheap hotel status. The hallways were dirty, rooms were ok but the beds were uncomfortable, the breakfast was ok but counters were not cleaned the whole morning. Service was decent but we were charged $20 for an extra person in the room which was frustrating since the room allowed 4 and we only had 3 in the room.

There were permanent residents living at this hotel. We smelled cigarette smoke in the halls. The paint by the towel bar was patched up with a different color. The toilet tissue was just placed on the counter top since the holder was broken. The elevator button for Ground was missing, so you had to poke your finger in to a little piece inside. We actually left (even though we paid) and went to another hotel.

Our bathroom had no power. Neither outlet worked. The bathroom door was hard to close Front desk staff was very nice

Rooms could be updated if you rent a suite. Definitely not enough towels. People were nice. More than one coffee in room is necessary as there were 2 of us. And most drink more than a cup.. A few updates like more than one elevator.. that was very old and rickety. For a one night anniversaries night...it did the trick. Hot tub decent.. took a long time for water to get hot. More soap/shampoos...Could be updated. Not terrible as were really not picky people. But it was okay.

Very clean. Elevator is very small and the stairs nearest the lobby are steep and fairly narrow (I presume the others are the same). The one-way traffic flow around the building was a bit annoying, and parking in front was limited, but sufficient. Breakfast is not bad, although adding hot chocolate and apple juice would be nice. The bathroom is average to small, but very functional; it never felt cramped. Shower curtain is too long. Maybe I missed them, but it would have been nice to have had hand towels, not just extra washcloths. Shower water was hot, but not scalding, and pressure was adequate. Room size was generous, but not quite "suite". :-) The bed I used was comfortable, and I didn't have to wrestle with an oversized bedspread. The Wi-Fi was atrocious. That was probably the biggest annoyance/disappointment.

The mirrors was so dusty around the jacuzzi. The bed so old, already have “nest” in them. The bed sheets was smelled like didn’t got changed for a while. The pillows was look old and dingy. I toke my kids out for Valentine’s Day, so they enjoyed the jacuzzi and the whole thing, that’s all is matter. But when the place ask for deposit, and keep the money for 2-3 business days, saying have no smoke policy, I really excepted the smoke smell in everywhere! Oh, on the icing on the cake, it was a roach in the tub upon waking up!

Here’s the deal, I checked in for a room that I made the mistake in booking, I thought it was one thing, it was different. MY MISTAKE! Rather than telling me I’m SOL, Eshara made everything right, she took the time to dig in and figure out what happened and then booked me for a night in the room I was expecting at no extra charge. It’s one thing to have mistakes happen, but when the teammates take action to SOLVE these mistake…the world is changed. Thank you for Super 8’s staff of excellent people. Shoutout to Eshara and Ragy!
