Globales Gardenia

Returned from our second trip to Globales Gardenea, this time our daughter and her family joined us half way through our stay. I agree, the rooms are a little dated, but, can honestly say that they are one of the cleanest I have stayed in and that goes for the whole of the hotel. We received a warm welcome on checking in. Our room this time was on the 9th floor, which is a nuisance when at certain times, the lifts are very busy, however, the view of the sea was amazing. The entertainment, whilst not the best, is ok, but we did go out some evenings to a few of the bars on the front. Food is good, especially the omelettes and pancakes at breakfast which are cooked fresh - my granddaughter loved them. The meat and fish can also be cooked fresh if you go to order. I am a vegetarian and always found something to eat. Drinks in the pool bar are good and there is also a snack bar which opens as the restaurant closes. The all inclusive wine however is a little ropey to say the least. The pools were open and very clean, both in and outside and their are plenty of sunbeds - if you like the quiet, there is a sun terrace and also a section of sunbeds set on grass and overlooking the sea. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The entertainment team do an amazing job too. One slight issue is the fact that there are not many plug sockets in the rooms, oh and also you will need to take a hair dryer. There is plenty of storage space in the rooms and the shower is always hot. Towels are changed regularly. On the whole, this place is a good place for a relaxing holiday and as it's so quiet at night, I sleep really well here- I do get though that younger people might not enjoy this hotel as there is not a lot to do in the evenings as I said the entertainment isn't for everyone, and we did often go out. That said, I would recommend this hotel, it's in a great spot for shops, bars and beach . We have booked to return again in the summer.

A wonderful holiday trip! We traveled together with my spouse. We live in Fuengirola, but we visited Malaga and many surrounding cities... Economy class hotel. 3*. If you are looking for problems, you will definitely find them! Delicious cocktails, food like 3*... But do you eat in a restaurant every day? 😁 There was a show in the hotel hall in the evenings. I would say that the hotel is intended for older people

Just come back from a week in the globales gardenia hotel had a fantastic time the food was great with a large choice the staff were all excellent a special thanks to the animation teem Lola,George, hermen will be booking again

The pros The rooms are great ,bathrooms of high standard The rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels every day. The place is spotless The girl (think her name is lola) and her colleague were great They are the entertainment crew .they kept everyone interested. Hotel is In a quiet area which is good if.you want peace and quiet to sleep Most staff were great .very polite and.helpful The beds were amazing .great nights sleep No sunbed wars here and there is a heated pool and.jacuzzi . Lots of space for sunbeds The cons The food was very repetitive and.was.never hot. Lukewarm at best. They cater more for the Spanish guests Some staff not very helpful nor informative..they need to learn how to deal with people. Not a big selection of drinks on all inclusive menu..if it not on list u have to pay which we didn't mind so we got something we liked. Summary Great hotel pity about food, great location for.a chill holiday facilities were great also..would.i come back again ?? Only if I got it cheap

Great hotel in a lovely part of fuengirola. Straight on the promenade from hotel gardens. Room big enough and very clean with great balcony with sea view. Food good with good selection, all staff friendly with a great entertainment team. AIl inclusive drinks goid with San Miguel on tap.

Great hotel. Great location. Step out the back gate and you are on the promenade. Food was plentiful, and a large selection. The rooms were kept clean, beds very comfortable. The balcony was great, it rained the whole time I was there but I could sit on the balcony due to it being quiet sheltered. Staff, lovely and friendly. Would definitely come back when the weather is dry.

The hotel was very clean our room had a lovely view the staff was very friendly, the staff couldn't do enough for me to make my husbands 70th birthday one to remember, I ordered a cake for him and all the staff came out to wish Happy birthday the restaurant manger Davi was fantastic 2 bottles of presseco was given to us to celebrate, I would just like to thank all the staff, I would definitely be back

Absolutely perfect holiday. Recently returned from a fantastic 10 day holiday, This was our second visit after first staying in sept 2022 for a 4 day break. We had no hesitations in booking again. We found everything just right for a 3 star and in some aspects it out performs its 3 star status. We had room 1006 on the 10th floor which was beyond our expectations as rather than a standard room, this had 2 levels. First level was a room with dining table and chairs , sofa , to and the balcony with a stunning view . Then a spiral staircase up to a huge bedroom , which had 2 massive double wardrobes and 2 windows which provided a panoramic view of stretching from the main town of Fuengirola all the way down carvajal beach. We had never had a room like this anywhere else we’d ever stayed. This is one of only 2 rooms in the whole hotel. Food was amazing maybe could be switched up ever so slightly but certainly no major issue. , never any problem getting a sunbed anytime of the day. Maybe one thing that would be helpful would be a bath mat just make it safer as was quite slippery . Also the towel rail was coming off the wall and the shower screen didn’t stay on the side of the bath so water from the shower kept going all over the floor. The entertainment was also of very high quality , ranging from a modern illusionist, fantastic flamenco show to an el divo tribute act, who received a standing ovation. There are buses right outside the hotel and the Torreblanca train station just a ten minute walk, so travelling about is very easy. We visited the Miramar shopping centre which is one bus trip away costing the standard charge of only 1.20 euro. Also the resorts of Benalmádena, Torremolinos and a visit to the Bio park zoo is amazing. We met some amazing people and most people were so so friendly. We’ve made some friends we’ll be keeping touch with. The location of this hotel is one of the best we’ve stayed at , quiet enough but not far from everything else you might want. We are already looking forward to returning sometime next year and for a 3 start hotel in such a fanatic resort and locale it really does impress.

O.k. first the location, really good at the quiet end of Fuengirola just across the road from a lovely beach. The hotel itself needs a substantial amount of updating all round , can be very very noisy at night due to the lack of double glazing in the rooms ,along with the fact none of the rooms have any sort of carpeting or noise deafening material installed consequently, the noise echoes from rooms above and people walking by in the corridors. Now I don't come on holiday to watch t.v. however it's nice to catch up with the news now and then, unfortunately even this isn't an option as there are no .English channels here whatsoever . The food is alright can be a bit sameish with pork and chicken dominating most meals . Now for the real downer the bar service at night or should I say lack of ,as I write this on a Saturday night there is one bar open with one girl serving , remember this is for the whole hotel, after waiting for 20minutes with little sign of progress we decided to go out for a drink. Now we are on an all inclusive deal( big big mistake) so our drinks are presumably pre-paid but alas unavailable unless you want to wait 30 minutes minimum. Looking round various web sites there really are a lot better hotels in Fuengirola all be it 4 star rating, which for similar prices offer a great deal with none of the issues we are encountering . Look very very carefully before booking this hotel , it may seem cheap but that is for a very very good reason. Would I stay here again, absolutely no chance whatsoever.
