About luggage storage service..... * So-called "free luggage storage" consists of open, unmonitored shelves in a public lobby with zero locks, doors, or staff supervision; staff even suggested using a bicycle chain to protect personal belongings. * This setup may make guests feel it is normal or a new standard to lower their own security awareness during their trip. * Even when luggage is accepted for storage, no claim tags, receipts, or verification codes are provided. * Heavy reliance on automated machines, weak human communication, and poor record-keeping. * Online listings do not clearly explain this public, unmonitored setup despite claiming 4-star hotel status. * If you have already booked, stand your ground and demand proper security for your protection. Remarks: The stay involved a total of 3 separate bookings across alternate days.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel WBF Grande Hakata. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. The rooms were well-maintained, and everything I needed for a comfortable stay was available. The public facilities were also clean and convenient. The location is good—it’s about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, making it easy to get around, though it may feel a bit far if you’re carrying heavy luggage. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and check-out smooth. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to solo travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped place to stay in Fukuoka. It offers great value for the price, and I’d happily stay here again.

Convenient location near Hakata station, close to a few izakaya's and restaurants nearby, Amenities generally clean Service - couldn't get a scoop for scooping the onsen water at the front desk when i booked an onsen room. Cant drink alcohol anywhere in the hotel except the rooms? Not even the sky lounge, when people are on a holiday, the last we want is to be imprisoned when drinking alcohol. Not suppose to eat as well at the sky lounge, So restrictive. Small public onsen that caters to 10 pax max i think and its already really squeezy, rooms are small even for couples. Not recommended unless for solo travellers. Didnt take much photos because its not memorable.

I stay in this hotel twice. If you want to stay in this hotel choose private bath in the room. You will have better experience in this hotel.

Comfortable hotel, 10 min walk from Hakata station. Room very small, bathroom large compared to the seize of the room.

This is a great hotel! The best I had in Japan yet! Rooms are spacious, facilities are great and extremely clean! Beds felt cozy and had the best sleep! Great onsen experience and free beverages at the lounge! Location walking distance to Hakata Station. Staff are extremely friendly and check in and check out process is by self and very smooth. Great overall experience and would stay here again when im in Fukuoka. Arigato!

Location is good with 10 minutes walk to Hakata Station and shopping mall. Many restaurants are nearby the station. Small room with comfortable beds. Lounge provides various drinks. Public bath area are too small. Service staff of restaurant are polite and efficient. Food are good but more choices will be much better.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are fine however staff treated us poorly from check in. The worst example was actually at check out. The went to reception the day before where we askes in writting if the hotel could assist me sending my luggage to my next hotel. Staff confirmed they understood by repeating my request in English, confirmed they could do it (exactly saying 'it's ok') but asked me to come in the next day. I said I had an early train next day and would be there early morning, again they said no problem. Next morning I was informed by staff that they could not offer that service and I needed to look for a 7-11. They were not rude at this point, though it was a very different information from the day before. I went to 7-11, got the forms, came back and I different person was in. I asked if they could assist me with the form, they said no. Asked if I filled out the form they could at least check if it was ok. Again said no, said they were very busy and walked into a room behind reception and closed the door leaving reception alone. Now had I not been mislead by staff on the previous day this could have been sorted in a Yamato office with calm and ease, but having been denied the day of check out at 6 am, with a train leaving at 8 (so before yamato opens) was not ok. Further to that if a member of your team gives incorrect information I do believe staff has a burden here to assist and correct, but to just turn your back to a client is not ok. We were patient the entire weekend with staff prioritizing serving other guests before us, but this was too much. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Take about 15 mins walking to Hakata main station, but there is a bus stop nearby. The hotel is valuable for money and quiet.
