Tenuta la Picola

We stayed here for four nights with two kids aged 6 and 8. We had a hire car and used it as a base for towns on the Amalfi coast. It's very convenient for taking the bus up to the start of the path of the gods, which was a walk in the hills with amazing sea views. It's situated on a rocky outcrop high above Praiano, with amazing views, and feels like a tranquil retreat from the busier Amalfi coastline. It's certainly worth the drive up the hill from the coast road. It is technically possible to walk to the beaches but the route is hard to find and there are hundreds of steps, so with young children, it would be better to get the bus or drive down. Breakfast was great, and Guido, the host, offers a simple but very delicious dinner. We enjoyed it so much, we had it twice, along with some of their red wine, which was very good. We stayed in one of the apartment-style rooms, with a kitchenette. It was spacious and had it's own balcony with the same amazing view as the dining terrace. Guido was really helpful, giving advice on how best to get around and even offered us a lift to the local town on one occasion. Overall we had a great time here - our kids didn't want to leave!

We really enjoyed our stay. Amazing view and good location to do daytours from. Staff was very friendly, our youngest has celiaki and they were so nice in offering her a special plate in the morning. Highly appreciated from both daughter and parents.

We had originally booked a hotel in Amalfi for our stay, however wanted to keep cost down and this lovely b&b was perfect. A great price and clean, comfortable and very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were a great size, cool, clean and comfy. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. View was beautiful and tucked away in the mountains made it very quiet and peaceful. We rented a car and was so glad we did. There was parking available and apart from one wonderful restaurant (Melchio) there wasn’t much else to see/do close by but in the car there are so many lovely places you can visit.

Die Tenuta La Picola ist eine ca. 300 Jahre alte ehemalige Ölmühle mit den typischen umgebenden Terrassengärten und einem traumhaften Rundumblick auf das glitzernde Mittelmeer. Das Gebäude wurde liebevoll restauriert, der alte Mühlstein und die Presse aber erhalten. Das Areal ist weitläufig und man braucht etwas Zeit, um es vollständig zu erkunden. Vor allem gibt es hier Parkplätze !!! Das ist an der Amalfiküste überhaupt nicht selbstverständlich. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber,hell und freundlich eingerichtet. Durch ein vollständig aufklappbares Panoramafenster hat man den gleichen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer wie von der Sonnenterrasse aus. Zimmer und Bad sind sehr geschmackvoll mit den typischen Keramik Fliesen ausgestattet. Außerdem gibt es einen großen Fernseher mit Internet Zugang (YouTube, Netflix ect.), einen eigenen Kühlschrank, eine Klimaanlage, ein Bidet und einen Safe. Das Wlan ist recht schnell. Das Frühstück ist typisch italienisch. Es gibt viel leckeren selbstgemachten Kuchen. Alle im Service Team sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Zum Essen kann man entweder das ca 200 m entfernte "Melchio" mit gehobener Küche besuchen, oder man isst ein traditionelles Menue aus selbst hergestellten Zutaten bei "Serafina"(ca. 250 m entfernt) , wo das Bruschetta und das Fleisch auf dem offenen Holzfeuer geröstet wird. Da es in beiden Lokalitäten nur begrenzt Plätze gibt, grundsätzlich vorher reservieren ! Sportliche Wanderer wird freuen, dass es hinter "Serafina" einen Aufstieg zum Startpunkt des "Pfades der Götter"in Bomerano gibt. Macht man die komplette Tour und steigt über Nocelle bis Positano ab, kann man von dort aus die Fähre nach Amalfi und dann den Bus Richtung Bomerano / Neapel nehmen, um zurück nach Furore zu gelangen. Eine sensationelle Tour !!! Guido Odore ist nicht nur ein großartiger Gastgeber, der einem notfalls nach einem langen Tag auch noch mal ein paar Sandwiches (extrem lecker) und einen Limoncello Spritz fertig macht, sondern ein Überzeugungstäter, dem die Liebe zu diesem Ort anzumerken ist. Er arbeitet beständig an verschiedenen Projekten und hat gegenwärtig einen traumhaften Swimmingpool am rechten äußeren Ende des Grundstücks in Arbeit, auf den wir uns bei unserem nächsten Besuch schon sehr freuen.

Muito bom. Quartos espaçosos e bem equipados. Linda vista da costa malfitana. Bom atendimento. Preço justo. Recomendo. Porem recomendo que estejam de carro. Dificil mobilidade via onibus e mais dificil ainda a pé. Cafe da manha bem gostoso

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti in questa struttura molto bella, immersa nel verde con una terrazza con vista mozzafiato sulla costiera amalfitana. Personale molto cortese. Camera ampia , nuova e pulitissima con vista incredibile sul mare. Colazione ottima sul terrazzo che sembra sospeso tra cielo e mare. Un posto splendido . Consigliatissimo.

Che dire... Panorama superlativo mozzafiato... Dalla finestra della nostra stanza ! Per non parlare della colazione servita in una grande veranda nel punto più alto della struttura . Personale cordiale e disponibile. Super pulizia delle stanze che sono moderne e trasmettono un senso di pace e serenità.

Abbiamo soggiornato 6 notti presso questa struttura nell’appartamento Sufinella. Appartamento molto pulito e confortevole. La posizione della struttura e’ bellissima con vista mozzafiato sulla costa. L’appartamento prevedeva anche la colazione : buonissima…torte e biscotti fatte in casa, frutta, brioche… Gestori della struttura gentilissimi e disponibilissimi … Consiglio vivamente questa struttura!
