Hotel Indigo Gainesville-Celebration Pointe

Hotel is in about 4 miles from the UF campus and football stadium, easy ride away in a quit newly developed shops/recreation/business area. Free parking in parking structure, pleasant and quick check in and out. Our room was nicely modern decorated, clean, no odor. Bedsheets were fresh & comfortable. We had no warm water in the morning for shower, late evening was no issue. A/C was quite loud, person sleeping right next to an a/c vent woke up every time a/c turned on. Bad design. We would come back, just need to check the location of A/C in particular room.

Hotel Indigo is the perfect getaway for me when i visit my Gator at UF. Close to shopping, I can even walk to restaurants.

We parked in a very secure deck, then walked to dinner. We had dinner at Spurrier’s Grill. The food and service were wonderful. We only spent the night, on our way to another destination. So, we did not look around the area.

Checked in late, water was COLD for shower. Checked faucet, also cold. Ac was loud and beside bed, was a little much trying to sleep. Probably could have spent more effort on design and less on decor. I assume water issue was some eco energy saving mumbo jumbo, just like the indigo I stayed at a few weeks prior where the lights wouldn’t come on completely for a few minutes. Asked at front desk, she said they all do that. That’s insane. As far as the water at this indigo, it was actually hot the next morning. So that was at least a bright spot. I doubt I’ll stay at an indigo again, too much effort spent in trendy decor and unasked for eco saving tricks. I’d prefer lights that were bright enough to see when turned on and hot water

Great spot for a business trip - convenient to my client, great food, and walking distance to other choices should you want a change of pace if your stay is longer. Quiet, great parking - everything I need.

This hotel is really nice and in a good location. I called for an early check in 7 days before our trip and was told we were good to go for 11 am check in., the staff was not helpful and expected me to wait 2-3 hrs to check in. They were so unhelpful during check in that I just didn’t even them them about the Luke warm water in our shower because I had no confidence in the staff’s ability to handle any adversity.

Very beautifully decorated. There was an art show with drinks and snacks that’s was a bonus.

The proximity to restaurants like Spurrier's is great. Better lighting is needed in the restrooms. The breakfast was good, but overpriced.
