Wonderful people. Wonderful bed. Soft clean sheets ans pillows . Thank you I'll cone back again. Maybe even rent another night. The desk clerk was sweet. Over alll great experience.

Hotel rates for Gainesville seem very high. Our room was pretty standard. The only thing that made it stand out from a room we had the previous week at another nearby hotel (at less than half the cost) was the second wastebasket. There was no tissue box in the room, just a purse-sized packet of tissues. The bathroom wall above the tub had been badly repaired, and there was no plug for the bathtub drain, so I can only hope our showers didn't lead to water behind the wall. There were plenty of lamps and lights in the room.

Ended up with a handicap accessible room, which I don't recall specifically asking for when I reserved online. The entire room smelled like the bathroom, which was not a good thing. The carpeted area looked and felt dirty, like the carpet hasn't been shampooed in years. The tile/wood bits weren't much better. The bathroom didn't have any counter-space. The showerhead had tiny leaks at several places where things screwed together and there was a little bit of buildup on the showerheads. The overhead lighting felt medical in the room, not very cozy. The king-size bed was nice, but my partner and I found that it felt like whatever parts of our bodies were touching the sheets felt like we were sweating when we weren't...? The staff were very nice and the premises was otherwise fine.

Very good value for the price. I read many negative reviews here but you get what you pay for. People shoud rate based on what is expected. This is the least expensive hotel in Gainesville. If you want a 10 star experience go across the street to Staybridge Suites but you'll pay 3 times the price!

By and large a good experience. It was clean and quiet. Room phone was inop and clerk had no replacement. He did, however, replace the tv remote which was having an issue. All in all a good value at my price point.

Stayed for one night- wish we would have stayed the down the street. A bunch of drunks on the property. Would not stop banging on the hotel room door at 2:00 am…then screaming in fighting in our hallway which moved to the parking lot on the property. Someone was sleeping in the hallway and down in the lobby which was very uncomfortable. Not to mention how badly the rooms smelled. I would not recommend staying here to my worst enemy. Do NOT stay here if you want a good nights rest.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Some things are a little outdated and could use a remodel or facelift , but overall it was a good experience

I've never had a great experience at Red Roof, but this one looked overhauled & got good reviews so I decided to give them another try. The hotel did get a renno, but as you can see from my pics, it was just lipstick on a pig. The person who checked me in talked so quietly. I don't know how any elderly person could have been able to communicate with him. My door had to be slammed shut to close. The bathroom overhaul looked like drunk bathfitters. The bed was comfortable. No bed bugs. It was worth the money for 8 hours of sleep. It's close to everything you can imagine. I will probably spend the extra $30 and stay at another hotel across the street.

The room was clean, beds were comfy. Wish the room had more plugs. Had to take lamp plug out to plug in microwave, coffee pot had to be plugged into the lamp. It's is a pain to keep plugging and unplugging especially with a laptop. The windows should have better security on them. Bathroom floor could use a better cleaning and having tissues would be nice. Expect traffic noise from highway. No breakfast whatsoever, only small cup coffee with powdered packets of creamer. Close to shopping areas.
