Stayed early May 2024, with group of friends on motorcycle tour round NW Scotland. Stunning location, beautiful scenery. Hotel relatively small, so early booking a must. Rooms clean and functional. We ate in bar from specials board, fantastic local produce. Breakfast you pre order hot food night before. Great open fireplace to sit round if it’s chilly. Large car park to rear. Would stay again. If you do book you will pay full amount up front ! This is a rural isolated location so cancellations will hurt businesses like this one.

Everything about this Inn is good quality. The rooms are lovely with high quality linen and furniture. It is clean throughout. All the staff we met were lovely and very helpful. This is our second stay and we look forward to returning. The food is great and there is a huge choice of drinks.

Had the most amazing lunch this Sunday. Monkfish scampi with chips and side salad was incredible followed by apple and rhubarb crumble. Delicious! Great service & very friendly. Would highly recommend it. Dogs welcome, will certainly go back.

On holiday with family during Easter break April 2024. Had two lovely meals here on consecutive nights. Staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly despite being rushed off their feet on a busy Friday night. Food was great and family loved it.

After being refused lunch elsewhere because I'm coeliac (was pretty grumpy), I stopped in for Easter Monday lunch. Lovely place - dog friendly (always a winner) fabulous crispy gluten-free fish and chips, and great banter from the bar manager. Highly recommend.

We looked long and hard at 3oclock for food on a Sunday afternoon This is harder than you expect in gairloch. We found this pub and it was ideal. Great food in a lovely location beside the river. very friendly staff. definitely worth a visit. The burgers in particular were super

As returning tourists to Gairloch, The Old Inn is always on our list for a meal and boy am I glad we went today at the start of our weeks stay, because we will probably return for another meal...maybe dinner later in the week. The service was great and the food.... well the food was amazing. The smoked salmon sandwich was just so delicious....I could have had another.... but I couldn't have fit it in. Hats off to the chef... the combination of flavours were spot on making what could have been an ordinary lunch outstanding. My husbands BLT was just as good as was my daughter's fish goujons. She summed up lunch perfectly as we left, 'My lunch was so yummy!' Thanks again. Compliments to the chef!

The room was spacious and clean, with a big comfy bed. En suite was clean and the hand lotion, tissues, hand soap and shower gel welcome additions. The dog bed was a lovely thought, but too small for our lurcher. Food in the restaurant plentiful and tasty, but it was not obvious that we needed to order at the bar, which led to a bit of a delay. Perhaps a note on the menu may help? Breakfast was again plentiful, with a 'help yourself' system.

Lovely location in great village, but hotel is very tired round edges and therefore significantly over-priced. We wanted to love it, but the overall experience was that the place is tired, the staff are ok but nothing more, and it is in desparate need of renovation and uplift with a management structure that has a passion for customer service. The food was not great for us, but this too was poorly handled. Maybe its us? but we'd just come from Harbour House in Ullapool where we had nothing but great things to say. We wouldn't book The Old Inn in Gairloch again I'm afraid.
