All the extremely positive reviews shared here about Villa Kubura are accurate. We experienced the same high standards of hospitality and culinary treats and beyond. The owner Sudath and his wife Damni and his staff kept this beautiful estate in pristine condition, took notice of the guests every needs while not being overwhelming. We felt extremely lucky to have found this little gem and will highly recommend this place to our friends and families. We hope to be back again.

This is one of the most beautiful and pristine places we have stayed at during our month trip around Sri Lanka. Our hosts Sudath and Damni were wonderful from the minute we arrived, they took great care of us. Everything was perfect from start to finish. It’s a quiet retreat away from the busyness of Hikkaduwa but at the same time only a short trip away if you are craving the beach. However, the alternative of relaxing in their beautiful garden and swimming in the lovely pool is far more appealing. In addition, Damni is one of the best cooks that we have found on our trip and she made us the most amazing curries. We absolutely loved our short, 3 day stay here and would definitely come back and felt that we’d arrived as strangers and left as friends. Highly recommended.

One of the most peaceful and outstanding places I have ever stayed at. Serene and beautiful. Exotic birds and plants everywhere. The location is second to none and the pool spectacular. It was more like a Luxury homestay, due to the very personal attention of the unbelievably kind hosts, Sudath and Dammi. We even did a fantastic cooking class with Dammi! The food was delicious! We will definitely return to this Paradise!

Villa Kubura was the perfect stay for our adult family. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The service was fabulous. Sudath is there whenever you need him. Small details make this place stand out - pool towels, beach towels, tea or coffee anytime, fresh drinks all without the need to ask! They have found the perfect balance with service that is discrete and special. The food cooked by Dammi was consistently good. Breakfast was plentiful & fresh and dinner was a treat; we asked for traditional Sri Lankan and the curries and fresh seafood were delicious. The location of the villa is ideal. Your are ten minutes via tuk tuk to the beach, bars, restaurants and shopping. The quiet area allows you to fully relax and enjoy the pool, reading or wandering the garden. We loved our time here and plan to return it was so good.

Villa Kubura was the perfect end to our honeymoon travels around Sri Lanka. The Villa itself is beautiful. The gardens, pool area and dining area are just stunning, and all designed by the owner, Suddath. Sudath and his family were lovely. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, a big thank you to his wife (Damma) who spent a couple of hours one evening teaching my wife how to cook tradition Sri Lankan curries! Our recommendation would be to have the home made dinner at the Villa on your first evening, you may want to do the same the next day - the food was incredible and we ended up having dinner at the Villa each night. Located just outside Hikkaduwa we had no issues getting around and when we come back again in the future we will be back Suddath, it was one of the most beautiful places and you and your family made it even better! Thank you!

We had a fantastic time at Villa Kubura. The villa is beautifully decorated, the rooms are clean and spacious overlooking the garden. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here!

Our stay in Villa Kubura was amazing. Owners are very friendly, they fullfiled us every our wish. Food was delicious and servis was great. Accomodation is very clean and comfortable. We stayed for four nights. Nothing to complain about! No problem to get to the beach. I would recommend to stay here for everyone who wants to have a pleasant calm stay in Hikkaduwa! Замечательное жилье и удивительный сервис от хозяев. Судат и его супруга не только чудесные хозяева, но и прекрасные повара. Здесь есть возможность отведать настоящей ланкийской кухни во всем ее великолепии. Ухоженная территория, чистый бассейн, шикарные аппартаменты. Однозначно рекомендую

Отличное место с великолепным сервисом и вкусной едой ) Очень интересные и ненавязчивые хозяева. Незабываемые завтраки , вкуснейшие ужины и Уютная атмосфера. Хозяин виллы всегда поможет решить любой вопрос. Обязательно пробуйте местные завтраки, это лучшая ланкийская кухня которую мы пробовали на острове :)
