We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with sofa bed. Room is spacious and clean. I’ll address the obvious first. Gallup has a reputation for its high crime. This hotel is located on the east end of town away from homes and most businesses. There are 4 other hotels nearby plus a Dennys, bbq place and gas station. The location felt safe, security was not super obvious but they were patrolling. From my 3rd floor view I saw many pick up trucks with toolboxes and other items in the bed. 2 cars parked next to us had bikes in a bike rack. A few people had trailers with items strapped down. All in all it looked like a bunch of people doing what we were doing, just passing through. This hotel also only has 2 exterior doors you can access from the outside, the front lobby and one other door. All other exterior doors are locked from the outside. There is no where in America that is inherently safe, this place is no worse than anywhere else. Hot water was another frequent complaint about this hotel from others. We had 5 people and we all had hot water. Maybe it was a problem they fixed. I’m actually surprised at how low this hotel ranks on TA. I would absolutely stay there again.

From the time we arrived we knew this be our go to hotel in Gallup! Kendall was warm and friendly and everything went great….pool and hot tub was sparkling! Exercise appears to be closed for awhile. Our room was immaculate, towels super soft and the shower had excellent pressure. Breakfast ladies were prepared and as welcoming as Kendall. Noticed lots of security patrolling the complex since our last stay…nice

Lost power which wasn’t their fault but there was no communication. Staff seemed short except for the woman working the desk in the morning. Clean hotel with really nice rooms and comfortable beds. Pool was clean and warm.

It was alright. I heard my heavy foot neighbors walking around above me most of the night and the person to the side of me. I think there were 9 cars in the parking lot and I think they group everyone all in the same area.

Retired and I stay in about 25 hotels rooms a year and am ADA. Nice things were Netflix on TV, great heat and a mini kitchen. The bad things are the microwave is not full size like they say it is. Had to go ask for wash clothes and hand towels as they didn't leave them when they clean the room last. The shower chair is coming out of the wall, water from shower is going out of bathroom into hall. Soaps are on front wall of shower and if you are on that chair, you can't reach them. bathroom door opens right next to bed. Look at pictures.

The facility is a kind of new building. The room with small kitchen is convenient for me. Only I do not understand why they charged additional charge after check-out. I found this charge when I checked my credit card statement. When I asked the front desk clerk (lady) during the check-out process, she said "no charge"; I am holding the invoice showing no charge. I hope they correct it ASAP.

The staff at check was excellent. He found a room on the bottom floor which was what we wanted. The room was wonderful except the garbage disposal didn't work and there was no coffee pot. Not big deals. Just an FYI. We loved the room.

Great hotel. I can trust a Marriott property to have whatever I need to feel safe and comfortable on my journey.

We traveled from south Texas to see our granddaughter in a rodeo. The hotel had some pros and cons. Cons: First - The worst thing for us was the bed was very hard. Now I know this is a personal preference, but for us, we woke up aching and had a poor night's rest... Second - The swimming pool was closed. This left us with no swimming entertainment for our granddaughter which is a highlight of our visits. Pros: The best thing was we were treated wonderfully by the staff. They frequently went above and beyond to meet our needs. The cleaning staff was top notch and anticipated our needs. The front desk clerk, Audrey, was an angel and was quick to help us with our small problem. The vent/microwave was not working and she quickly followed me upstairs and fixed the problem. The breakfast is excellent, one I did not expect. One morning we had fried eggs, and the next scrambled. The variety of breakfast options was more than adequate. My wife and I were very pleased with the options of both cold and hot items. If it were not for the bed, I would return there in a heartbeat, so for those of you that like a firm bed this is the place for you!
